I wish Dansing could have met his Gramma Goldie. When I look at him I see her. They have the same shaped face and whisker pads, and he has a long and sleek body like hers. She was always my fav. So glad to have a peice of her in Dansing. Her lifes blood will go on! Thanks for the sweet tribute Neil. Loved the song too.

Ouch... I knew I shouldn't have watched this. I lost it about halfway through. I had to have my little calico lady euthanized today. Her liver stopped working, and the vet found a tumor on it. It was terminal. Toughest decision I've ever had to make. Watching Goldie was NOT a good thing to do right now. I should probably just lay low for a few days...

I remember back in '94 when I had to put to sleep my 19 year and 7 months female Siamese mix, I found it so hard for the first six months. I would look at another cat and my eyes would get all teary.
I think this is the hardest thing to do in the life of your pet.
It's something I hope I never have to face again, and I know you feel the same way. Having her life-mate and her son here help in some ways, and in others they make it worse. Of course, they don't know what happened and wouldn't understand; they just wonder why she's not here.

Yes Goldie was a stand up type of gal,not "my" first Bengal..but she was the Genesis of Ridanos Bengals for Richard Norton.
