  • very cute, very funny, and those streaks will make you a superstar

  • when you die. thats it. nothing happens. you just stop existing. why don't people understand that? Your awareness of your life is only there because your brain is working when it stops working you will stop working. Its not that hard really...

  • Well I am atheist and know it's true, but think about it.

What will it be like to lack thought?

  • You won't know what it will be like to lack existance. Because you wont exist!

  • Precisely. That's what's tough to grasp. Not existing.

  • I really enjoyed that. Thanks. Keep up the good work.

  • yay to God!

  • Boo to God!

  • Ha ha haa! I like this, you're going on my faves list! Part of your song reminded me of this:

"Eternal suffering awaits anyone who questions God's infinite love." Bill Hicks

  • Thanks v much. I feel like a proper rock n roll comedian now.

  • I wouldn't. That would require you to either make decent songs and be funny. So far youre on 0 for 2.

  • This is the best 7 minutes 55 seconds I have enjoyed in a long time!

  • good video. excellent song. five stars.

  • Sorry, but I had to turn this off after one minute forty. A personality might help. If you are an advert for atheism, I think I'll find an alternative.

  • Atheist or not. You've got to work on your musical performance, man. It's whacky. For real. Most People (including me!) don't appreciate serious issues through artistical expression as long as the work of art is not absolutely outstanding and touching.

You're timing is a catastrophy, I'm sorry. At least I can understand your point of view. Fanatic christians are a drag, it's true, and at the end of the day it counts what you do and if you do right or not. Now learn to perform a real song ;-)

  • ha so good ... i have the same family as you...we have theological arguments at xmas over scrabble too!!

  • I have made room in my life for all you christians, muslems, jewish, hindu and all and any I have forgotten. I would just like to live my LIFE my WAY without anyone telling me what I have to believe. Thats what America used to be about. Whats wrong with the BIG picture? Can't anyone get along any more? My tears are falling for all of you and I have great pain in my soul because of all the hate. I wish you all PEACE and LOVE. Who cares what happens, live your lives to the best, the way you want!

  • I know what happens when you're dead. Seriously.

  • Good song mate, well done. We'll be getting some agnostic buses here in Edinburgh too in January, due to the BHA having raised over £135K. I'm looking forward to seeing them on the streets.

  • Very funny video. Thanks a lot!

  • i think they mentioned national advertising, you could have athiest bus's there

  • Can we have an agnostic bus please? For us indecisive ones?

  • We can all have our own faith buses as long as we treat the driver nicely and all the other passengers and let anyone of any faith on board. That definitely makes sense.

  • You don't seem to understand the definition of atheism, or agnosticism.

The atheist buses are quite agnostic (as they say "there is probably no god") ...unless you strictly mean a fifty-fifty position (on whether god exists), when you say agnostic.

Being a non-agnostic atheist (a strong atheist), i.e someone who is absolutely sure that there is no god, is somewhat foolish.

There is, after all, no way to positively prove that god doesn't exist.

    It's just highly unlikely.

  • Well I've never met someone who said they were an atheist and then said "there is *probably* no god". I would say that was agnostic. But what do I know?

I'm an agnostic in the sense that I believe there may or may not be a supreme being. Unless I was there to see the begining of the universe first hand I don't think I have sufficient evidence to believe either theory.

    Anyway, it's just a song.

  • Ah, your the fifty-fifty type, then.

A position I consider false, as there is no evidence, even to suggest the _possibility_ of a god, and some to suggest that there is none.

    No absolute proof perhaps, but...

I think you'd have a hard time, finding an atheist, that isn't at least a bit agnostic.

Even those who say that god doesn't exist, when pushed on the issue, will admit that it is technically possible, albeit highly unlikely (much like bigfoot, the loch ness monster, alien abductions etc).

  • THere is no possibility of any god existing none whatsoever, total 100% fact gods do not and never have been real, and any one who thinks that they are is fooling themselves

there wasnt to hard to find one was it?

  • 1. I am not sure about your sincerity.

    2. Four weeks on youtube, and an element of chance... I'd say the difficulty hasn't been disproved.

    3. Your sir, are a fool.

  • Zarlan , my self deluding friend, I am 100% sure there are no gods, whether you doubt my sincerity or not changes nothing.

I will again state There is no chance whatsoever of anyone proving that a god/gods/supernatural force of any kind Exist/or have ever existed.

    And thanks for the insult

  • "I will again state There is no chance whatsoever of anyone proving that a god/gods/supernatural force of any kind Exist/or have ever existed."

Nor is there any chance whatsoever of anyone _disproving_ that a god/gods/supernatural force of any kind exist/or have ever existed.

There is no reason to believe in their existence, but there is no way (rationally) to be 100% sure of their non-existence. (I'd say I'm at 99.999[more nines]% sure, but 100%?)

  • I'm not sure what you two are talking about. I would like to say that there isn't any proof either way, its an unsolvable matter, its a matter of faith. There is no evidence for, nor against. Scientifically speaking, its not sound (as science relies on being falsifiable, and you cant falsify nor confirm God's existence)

As you can probably tell, I'm agnostic. The reason im posting this is cause, well, he's no more an idiot than a person saying that God definitely does exist.

  • "As you can probably tell, I'm agnostic. The reason im posting this is cause, well, he's no more an idiot than a person saying that God definitely does exist."

I pretty much agree, and what you say is pretty much what I was saying.

I am however, of course, against treating the possibility of god's existence, and non-existence, as equal.

There is much, to indicate that god(s) don't exist, and nothing to indicate that they do.

I am pretty sure there are no god(s), just not to quite 100%.

  • Why on earth is it 'foolish' to believe that there is no god?

It's a bit like saying "there are 'probably' no such things as fairies".

I think I can quite sensibly make the judgement that there are no fairies without having to be able to prove it.

I believe that there is no god, in just the same way that I believe that there are no fairies.

  • Indeed, it is just a song doodlebugamy and the message is not that we should pronounce on the rightness or wrongness of any position, but that we should be anti-intolerance and that we should be judged by our actions not by our beliefs. The atheist bus campaign was lauched as a counterpoint to intolerant evangelical christian advertising. It's fun to have a little debate on your page though. Cheers.

  • While we should be tolerant, in general, we shouldn't be tolerant of intolerance, nor give people respect and/or authority, simply because they are religious (not that we should be disrespectful, just because they are religious either).

  • I never said, that it was foolish to believe that there is no god. I am, after all, not to fond of calling myself a fool ;)

If you would say that, there is _absolutely_ no possibility of god (or faeries, or celestial teapots [Russel's Teapot])

    ...then you are being unreasonable.

You don't seem to be disagreeing with me.

  • As I said:

"Even those who say that god doesn't exist [note that, that includes me], when pushed on the issue, will admit that it is technically possible, albeit highly unlikely (much like bigfoot, the loch ness monster, alien abductions etc)."

  • Comment removed

  • Great song! I'm in America, so I won't get hit by the atheist bus tomorrow. :-)

  • Yeah, cause atheist buses don't move in mysterious ways ;)

  • Will you play this in an atheist bus in London! That would be cool to tape and put on youtube :)

  • Hello Censeo. I'd love to. I'll just have to place my faith in the public transport system to get me down there from Manchester. I might end up praying when I'm stuck somewhere near Rugby. Which would be worrying.
