Poor fellow...all those quote-mines and distortions, discredited stupidities, and nonsensical fundie websites! A good reason not to believe a word of this ridiculous video. A better reason: creationists claim all forms of life were created during the 6 day time period(mathematically disproven, btw). If they were all life forms ought to be found together. The Burgess Shales , the largest preCambrian and Cambrian fossil site, has no reptiles, fish, amphibians, mammals or humanoids. This is a ...
major problem for creationists, as no vertebrates existed there at all...NONE! The shales disprove creation in toto (apart from the mathematic disproof); evolution is thereby confirmed in saying complex organisms were preceded by simpler ones. Too bad, so sad.
@pontecanis All evolutionists have is hot air on the mostly anonymous Internet. We have the real science backed up by the $10,000 Life Science Prize. You can evolve from a chicken and win the prize or make cowardly remarks on websites until you ultimately die and become a creationists after it's too late. My last remark to you is something that everyone understands: CLUCK, CLUCK
Another great example of religion failing to withstand science and, after losing for over a century and a half, scraping around in science in a desperate attempt to insert god (lowercase). Of course, for creationists to explain this, they must concede that the god they choose to believe in is inept and fallible. After all, there are fossils that predate the Cambrian, so the gods are either really bad designers, or they learned several million ways not to make living creatures, a la T. Edison.
@Ematched Ah, the old dusty straw man, religion. You people cannot stay with real science but always slip in science fiction (evolution) as the bait and switch technique used by sleazy sales men. We are very interested in real science, but you have nothing that you would dare to expose in a science format in a public debate. OK, I am ready for more straw men from your Lame Excuse Handbook.
@BereanBeacon1 But you don't want to deal with real science, you want to prop up the bible with anything that will sucker people into believing you, including garbage and outright lies.
@BereanBeacon1 "We are very interested in real science, but you have nothing that you would dare to expose in a science format in a public debate. "
The success of evolutionary biology, medicine, genetics, microbiology, etc., (and the national / international journals in which all of their findings are published for review) have repeatedly discredited your singularly unique and feebly manufactured interpretation of reality.
@foxhole8063 SOrry to say but evolution has helped nothing to advance any of the professions listed above. Even if the majority Believed in this theory it wouldnt make it true majority vote is meaningless. There are no missing links, no such thing as a beneficial mutation, and all the evolution theory is based on is unproven speculations and pure interpretations.! its not science my good man. @gregrutz There are No missing links. All animals and plants bring forth after their kind and thats exactly what we are seeing.. There are no beneficial mutations, No new dna being added only scrambled information. All we see is Bones in the dirt and evolutions make imaginary Interpretations and Illustrations about them. And the grand canyon has layers of course but dont you think it woulda rained once or twice in millions of years how come there are no erosion marks? THeres no delta?
@enos426 All we see is Bones in the dirt NO SHIT ! Why don't you open your eyes.
no erosion marks? There are many unconformities in the Grand Canyon. Yes, that is what they are called. Missing layers due to erosion. Look downstream for the delta, it is there.
@gregrutz You are a professional troller. Everywhere I get my nose in YT, you are there trolling. How do you make a living? Have you considered to get a life, for a change? Leave YEC's alone if you are so confident about your evo-fairy tale.

@foxhole8063 Waaay to take the credit for something you dont deserve, you think evolution theory has contributed anything to life? It's the FUNCTION of bioligcal element that contribute to medicine and study on genetics and what that may entail in regards to health and disease.
A scientists I dont remember the name of said "It is not important how it originated, it is how it functions now".
@Stianchez All of these fields are interrelated. The success of each in their ability to not only explain previously observed phenomena as well as predict subsequent ones is a demonstration of their validity as well as that of the scientific method and peer review process David so readily dismisses.
Again, though ... if creationists have a good, falsifiable hypothesis regarding the diversity of life, please submit it for review. Proof of creation would certainly revolutionize science ...
@foxhole8063 Hold your horses, please tell me how botanic study on plant finding out cure for disease has anything to do with the supporting of the evolution theory?
A famouse example the inventor of the gene gun is a creationist, and I saw a poll 92% of important scientific discoveries were made by religiouse people, only 2% by atheists.
Aswell as most technological advancements teams always have a jew on their team. Look it up, it will surprise you.
@Stianchez OK smartassed comments aside, look up "directed evolution", showing how it is applied to botany / agriculture, medicine, etc. As I said, these fields are interconnected.
Not sure what your point is about this poll you read about, though.
@foxhole8063 It was some random poll targetting the world view people idenfitied themselves to who worked on the development teams. Then again, majority is often wrong i was merely stating my point.
The problem here is you try to take credit for something which just as easily applies to my side of the table.
Directed evolution is just survival of the fittest(luckiest) although it is done in an enclosed area. It has nothing to do with the evolution theory in the sense we are discussing.
@Stianchez Directed evolution is an application of the same exact principles, even if scientists are the ones who apply the selective pressures instead of nature.
I'm not trying to take credit for anything ... I'm just showing how these fields (including evolutionary biology) are interconnected. Their continued demonstrated success (and advances) is validation of the existing theories, even if they still need improvement. I don't care if they were developed by Mormons or Rastafarians.
@foxhole8063 In short, as every scientists who works within the field of research excluded of how life orginiated. Does not care how life originated in regards to their work. Just the function ;) That was my whole claim. You seemed to assert somehow this supported the evolution theory in any way which it really has nothing to do with it.
@Stianchez True, evolutionary theory explains the diversity of life, not the origin. I think the problem with reading some of my comments to David is that they sometimes carry over from other threads ... that's an oversight on my part.
@foxhole8063 I never quite got why people who support the theory always are so distinct in evolution and abiogenesis. It intuitely is the exact same thing, the same process accounts going from soup to fish and fish to land animal.
Then again you have to define what you mean by diversity, there's diversity within humans but we are still just humans ;)
@foxhole8063 Again depends how you define it but I should of been clear, on the theory where you go from none life to life- That step is where it "starts". Anyhoo this is turning into pointless discusson. Check out this interestng debate instea dif u feel like it /watch?v=LgwqgSmIdHY
You ppl can't stay with real science either but have to cheat and lie to get money it's all abt money in science, there's a case against a woman she cheated herself to 1000's of $ for research she never conducted she even lied abt her being a science student go and se the movie “No intelligence allowed” you think you ppl can do away with GOD but guess what at the end of the day GOD will do away with you lying greedy money grabbing ppl, and that goes for Christians 2
"the Life Sciences MiniTrial is bogus nonsense, which is why nobody has wasted their time on it."
In the 9 years the Life Science Mini-Trial has been offered, one person did contend for the evolutionists. He put on an excellent performance. He obviously had prepared very well because all of the evolutionist arguments were argued very well.
He lost 260 quadrillion to zero because, like the other 374,000 evolutionist defaulters, he had no scientific evidence.
sol3a1, If you are referring to the Life Science mini-trial, and if you intend to contend as the evolutionist, then see the rules at life science prize dot org. If you agree to abide by the rules and have your $10,000 ready to hand the judge, then let me know and I'll begin the arrangements.
@josephmastropaolo ~Unfortunately the Life Sciences MiniTrial is bogus nonsense, which is why nobody has wasted their time on it. Additionally, the Mini-trial has been superceded and made pointless. It is now Federal Law in the USA that intelligent design creationism is religion and evolution is valid science. Get over it.
The anomaly of the Cambrian Explosion is that no animal phyla appear to have "split off" from others; they appear together in the fossil record. Of course, "together" in geological time means within the same 20 to 50 million years! Nevertheless, the Cambrian Explosion is difficult for Darwinian Evolution. But if life came here from distant solar systems then the explosion is not surprising. No "Biblical Creation" is necessary. Our knowledge is incomplete; let's admit what we do NOT know!
@Phantus00 All evolutionists have is hot air on the mostly anonymous Internet. We have the real science backed up by the $10,000 Life Science Prize. Are you calling me a chicken for posting a msg on the internet while you post your own anonymous reply on the very same page? That's some pretty flawed logic Sparkles. Get on your dinosaur you fraud and continue to move threw life with your head in the clouds.
@BereanBeacon1 Instead of continually challenging the people that understand biology to a contest held in a forum specifically not designed for science, why not challenge the creationists to take their evidences into the actual scientific arena?
Do you think creationists are too scared to try real science in the forum where real science is done? Because what you're doing now is comparable to issuing a biker build-off challenge and holding it in an emergency room.
2: There were precursor animals of the fauna of the Cambrian Explosion in Ediacaran layers. The issue was the Cambrian fauna are "younger" and have more hard parts
3: That extends the time of the "explosion" to over 100 MY
4: Most, not all of the Phyla are in the Cambrian
5: Phyla is so broad to mean almost nothing. Humans and Hagfish are in the same Phyla
6: There are many Classes and Orders still missing
You're absolutely right. A ton of species emerging at one time proves that an invisible bearded dude in the sky spontaneously made a bunch of creatures for no reason.
You will have to face that invisible beaded dude in the sky 1 day, will you be ready to meet HIM, you don't believe in GOD fine but that doesn't mean HE don’t exist does it?
@colinb890 There is no need to be a scientist to question the religion of evolution as both creation and evolution are faith based. The problem is evolutionists will not allow an open discussion within a science controlled format. They have been advised not to debate with witnesses present, so only venture out of their hen house to make comments on YT. They only feel safe in a class room or some other protected environment.
*Ahem* Transitional Fossils from the Precambrian Era: (Creationists, this is your cue to plug your ears, put on blinders & sing "Lalala I can't hear you!")
Parvancorina minchami - a primitive athropod
Dickinsonia Vendian - an annelid
Cyclomedusa davidi & Hiemalora stellaris - benthic organism much like a sea anemone
Really? This guy is so misinformed as to seem willfully ignorant. Ancestor organisms have been found in the fossil record. However, due to the mechansims of geological forces (heat & pressure over time) and the age of this layer of rock, the majority of these fossils have been warped beyond recognition or destroyed completely. Therefore, these fossils are extremely rare.
@bencamp18 If the majority of the fossils are warped beyond recognition and many many of them have been destroyed how do you know they support evolution if you can't find them? Oh I know I forget forgive me you can just build a model and draw something on a piece of paper and " link it " to whatever species you need to link it to right? Forgive that definetly proves evolution.
@thebig1 Is this even an argument? Typically, in order to have a meaningful argument doesn't each side have to acknowledge what the other side actually said? I never there were no identifyable fossils from before the Cambrian Explosion, only that intact ones are very rare, due to the way geology works. The older sediment layers have the weight of younger layers on top of them causing them to warp like putty. But several ancestor fossils have been found so we don't need sketches or models.
@bencamp18 THe Cambrian animals came onto the scene already formed and do the things they needed to do. In the Pre Cambrian levels there are no transitionals of the cambrian level species. The very premise of evolution is that there are steps to getting to a certain species yet the PRE CAMBRIAN HAVE NO PRECEDING TRANSITIONAL FORMS THAT LED TO THEM COMING ON THE SCENE. They simply were. Thats why evolution according to you guys didn't happened.
@thebig1 "THe Cambrian animals came onto the scene already formed"
No, they didn't. There are transitional fossils. (Of course, saying "transitional fossil" is redundant because all fossils are transitional.) I can tell this isn't going to be an intelligent debate because it already involves you ignoring what I've said & me repeating myself. Good day.
@bencamp18 The Cambrian animals came in to the scene fully formed and we know this because in the Pre Cambrian levels THERE ARE NO TRANSITIONALS THAT LEAD TO THE CAMBRIAN ANIMALS. Stop trying to twist the truth. Evolution is a false theory.
Only in the minds of the willfully ignorant, sir. 200 years ago, people like you were still claiming the world was flat just because they couldn't see the roundness for themselves. "Where's the proof?" they asked. "All you have are ships disappearing over the horizon & a theory." The world will readily leave you behind just like it did to your predicessors. Evolution has withstood 150 years of scrutiny from credible scientists. Your pseudo science won't hurt it.
@thebig1 Ooo, "moron"? That's a stark contrast to "friend." I guess I struck a nerve. If ignorance makes you happy then may you be the happiest person on the planet.
@thebig1Because of the lack of transitional fossils there are now transitional features, so every fossil is related. Volumes of science fiction must be written to explain evolution and it changes all the time. We invite evolutionists all the time to come to The Life Science Prize, but cluck, cluck, they decline.
well..so apparently if i am to believe this BS..the Flinstones were real..and they had a dinosaur for pet..wait that didn't happened..human didnt exist back then..we haven't evolved yet..ermm.. get your facts straight..evolution..true or false? Ok..i may need an creationist to explain to me how come we have not found human remains as far as65 MYO..and I'll try and explain why is it difficult to find fossils just 600MYO
Lawyer: Your honor, I believe my retarded friend BB, by introducing the Cambrian Era that existed some 500 MYA, has introduced evidence that destroys his 6000 year old earth belief system. I submit that his "The earth is 6000 years old" be thrown out of court, based upon him introducing this 500 million year old evidence and the idiot be made to pay for court costs.
Judge: Agreed. And I further order we throw all of the leftover buns and donuts at him for wasting this court's time.
How do you turn BereanBacon into bacon? Simple! Multicelled organisms have existed for 1.8 billion years. Some animals actually appeared "BEFORE" the Cambrian explosion about 620 million years ago. Plus, the Cambrian explosion took place over a period of 60 million years, not in an instant.
Very Complex.... clams, snails jelly fish, worms, braciopods and trilobites. And that is all that has evolved. No dinosaurs, no land animals, no birds.
How can they use a 500 million year old event to prove a young earth?
All the PHYLA, fully formed. LOL Phyla is a classification, not an animal.
sure, geologist have proved it... yet they still cannot give any evidence...
unless you can actually give evidence that is scientific in nature, like, observable and testable data... you can't so... i cannot help and blind person to see and a deaf person to hear the truth.
@theREALiceveela So never opening a science book is an 'ad hominem''
Not looking at the evidence and then saying there isn't any is an 'ad hominem'
Geologists knew the earth was millions of years old before nuclear chemists told them it is billions of years old. Read a geology book so you know what you are talking about.
once you can mention any evidence, than i might believe you, but since all of your "evidence" is made out of ASSumptions, i really do not see a point in arguing with you. someone who does nothing but attack me with ad hominem statements, yet FAILS to provide a single bit of real scientific (observable or testable) data.
if you HONESTLY believe there is ANY "proof" for evolution, than you are either blind, or mentally ill. because despite what all the mass media tell you. THERE IS NOT A SHRED OF EVIDENCE!!!
if there is than show me, take a picture of the evidence and send it to me, do not send me bones or crap like like, give me observable or testable data. you fail at doing that. you yourself have proven that evolution is FAKE is the biggest HOAX in mankind.
@theREALiceveela We have the fossil record, comparative anatomy, embryology, genetics, comparative biochemistry, observe speciation, and on and on and on...
@gregrutz "We have the fossil record, comparative anatomy, embryology, genetics, comparative biochemistry, observe speciation, and on and on and on..."
ok, the fossil record, comparative anatomy, etc has all been refuted, embryology is what landed Haeckel into a hot spot when he got charged by HIS OWN SCHOOL of FRAUD. and speciation does not prove that anything happened IN THE PAST, and it STILL does not change the kind of animal it is. give me SCIENTIFIC DATA, not this paseudoscience
are you ASSuming i did NOT watch the video? you have no evidence that i did or did not watch it, but even without a shred of evidence you still have more for this case than you do for common ancestry
@drumsoloboy The original word was חוּג chûg khoog >From Strong's Concordance: H2328; a circle: - circle, circuit, com passive. It does not mean a sphere. Hebrew has at least two words that mean sphere: : כדור (he) (kadúr) m., ספרה (he) (sféra).
evolutionist actually think this as a threat. if they think it is false, they would not be attacking the credibility of the person, and they would not have to "refute" our data, something of course they have never did.
so if evolutionist are right, why do they attack us instead of staying at home drinking their champagne al la chimpanzee
...........i thought you were smart for about .2 seconds... now i know otherwise.... reread my post, and reword yours so you sound more like a professional.... because right now, i cannot read head over tails of the severe ignorance and ad hominem i read in your hateful replies. read a little about evolution and also the evidence that shows holes in it... its called a education. get one...
what holes? the real question is what evidence? there is more evidence for the existance of the OORT could than there is evidence that we have any relationship with a ape, let alone a rat or a rock.
@theREALiceveela I demand of you, and of the whole world, that you show me a generic character ... by which to distinguish between Man and Ape. I myself most assuredly know of none. I wish somebody would indicate one to me. But, if I had called man an ape, or vice versa, I would have fallen under the ban of all the ecclesiastics. It may be that as a naturalist I ought to have done so.
@theREALiceveela The ERVs we share with Apes show that we are related, because the insertion points are identicle. Now this could have happened by chance, a chance of one to ten to the 148th power., and that's just the K type ERVs.

A scientists I dont remember the name of said "It is not important how it originated, it is how it functions now".
Evolution theory doesn't do crap for us. =)
Stianchez 4 months ago
@Stianchez All of these fields are interrelated. The success of each in their ability to not only explain previously observed phenomena as well as predict subsequent ones is a demonstration of their validity as well as that of the scientific method and peer review process David so readily dismisses.
Again, though ... if creationists have a good, falsifiable hypothesis regarding the diversity of life, please submit it for review. Proof of creation would certainly revolutionize science ...
foxhole8063 4 months ago
@foxhole8063 Hold your horses, please tell me how botanic study on plant finding out cure for disease has anything to do with the supporting of the evolution theory?
A famouse example the inventor of the gene gun is a creationist, and I saw a poll 92% of important scientific discoveries were made by religiouse people, only 2% by atheists.
Aswell as most technological advancements teams always have a jew on their team. Look it up, it will surprise you.
Science and atheism is not coherent.
Stianchez 4 months ago
@Stianchez Neither, it would appear, are you.
foxhole8063 4 months ago
@Stianchez OK smartassed comments aside, look up "directed evolution", showing how it is applied to botany / agriculture, medicine, etc. As I said, these fields are interconnected.
Not sure what your point is about this poll you read about, though.
foxhole8063 4 months ago
@foxhole8063 It was some random poll targetting the world view people idenfitied themselves to who worked on the development teams. Then again, majority is often wrong i was merely stating my point.
The problem here is you try to take credit for something which just as easily applies to my side of the table.
Directed evolution is just survival of the fittest(luckiest) although it is done in an enclosed area. It has nothing to do with the evolution theory in the sense we are discussing.
Stianchez 4 months ago
@Stianchez Directed evolution is an application of the same exact principles, even if scientists are the ones who apply the selective pressures instead of nature.
I'm not trying to take credit for anything ... I'm just showing how these fields (including evolutionary biology) are interconnected. Their continued demonstrated success (and advances) is validation of the existing theories, even if they still need improvement. I don't care if they were developed by Mormons or Rastafarians.
foxhole8063 4 months ago
@foxhole8063 In short, as every scientists who works within the field of research excluded of how life orginiated. Does not care how life originated in regards to their work. Just the function ;) That was my whole claim. You seemed to assert somehow this supported the evolution theory in any way which it really has nothing to do with it.
Stianchez 4 months ago
@Stianchez True, evolutionary theory explains the diversity of life, not the origin. I think the problem with reading some of my comments to David is that they sometimes carry over from other threads ... that's an oversight on my part.
foxhole8063 4 months ago
@foxhole8063 I never quite got why people who support the theory always are so distinct in evolution and abiogenesis. It intuitely is the exact same thing, the same process accounts going from soup to fish and fish to land animal.
Then again you have to define what you mean by diversity, there's diversity within humans but we are still just humans ;)
Stianchez 4 months ago
@Stianchez "... the same process accounts going from soup to fish and fish to land animal."
How do inherited genetic variation and natural selection apply to non-living things?
foxhole8063 4 months ago
@foxhole8063 Again depends how you define it but I should of been clear, on the theory where you go from none life to life- That step is where it "starts". Anyhoo this is turning into pointless discusson. Check out this interestng debate instea dif u feel like it /watch?v=LgwqgSmIdHY

@BereanBeacon1 It's actually not a straw man argument. Apparently you failed to listen to the last portion of the video. Among the beligerence:

"First of all, we can understand that we are created. We're not created in the image of an ape; we are created in the image of god."

A couple of problems with your premise:
1: The Cambrian Explosion took about 80 MY
2: There were precursor animals of the fauna of the Cambrian Explosion in Ediacaran layers.

Therefore, these fossils are extremely rare.
bencamp18 1 year ago
@bencamp18 If the majority of the fossils are warped beyond recognition and many many of them have been destroyed how do you know they support evolution if you can't find them? Oh I know I forget forgive me you can just build a model and draw something on a piece of paper and " link it " to whatever species you need to link it to right? Forgive that definetly proves evolution.
thebig1 1 year ago
@thebig1 Is this even an argument? Typically, in order to have a meaningful argument doesn't each side have to acknowledge what the other side actually said? I never there were no identifyable fossils from before the Cambrian Explosion, only that intact ones are very rare, due to the way geology works. The older sediment layers have the weight of younger layers on top of them causing them to warp like putty. But several ancestor fossils have been found so we don't need sketches or models.
bencamp18 1 year ago
@bencamp18 THe Cambrian animals came onto the scene already formed and do the things they needed to do. In the Pre Cambrian levels there are no transitionals of the cambrian level species. The very premise of evolution is that there are steps to getting to a certain species yet the PRE CAMBRIAN HAVE NO PRECEDING TRANSITIONAL FORMS THAT LED TO THEM COMING ON THE SCENE. They simply were. Thats why evolution according to you guys didn't happened.
thebig1 1 year ago
@thebig1 "THe Cambrian animals came onto the scene already formed"
No, they didn't. There are transitional fossils. (Of course, saying "transitional fossil" is redundant because all fossils are transitional.) I can tell this isn't going to be an intelligent debate because it already involves you ignoring what I've said & me repeating myself. Good day.

@theREALiceveela Species evolve, not individuals. Try again.
And 97% of the species did ''not have childern'', they went extinct.
No trilobites,
No dinosaurs,
No Cambrian marine creatures.

evolutionist actually think this as a threat. if they think it is false, they would not be attacking the credibility of the person, and they would not have to "refute" our data, something of course they have never did.
so if evolutionist are right, why do they attack us instead of staying at home drinking their champagne al la chimpanzee
theREALiceveela 1 year ago
@theREALiceveela Because IDiots say the Cambrian Explosion proves evolution wrong, It does not.
''very complex'' >> worms, trilobites, snails, small sea creatures. WOW no land animals at all.
We do find Pre-Cambrian fossils, the ancestors of Cambrian animals.
DNA now is the best evidence of evoluton.

@gregrutz
ad hominem
anyways... the "best evidence for evolution" is at 92.5% similarity and dropping
theREALiceveela 1 year ago
@theREALiceveela You talk like you don't know evolution has been proven.
You are still an Ape, explain that.

@gregrutz
...........i thought you were smart for about .2 seconds... now i know otherwise.... reread my post, and reword yours so you sound more like a professional.... because right now, i cannot read head over tails of the severe ignorance and ad hominem i read in your hateful replies. read a little about evolution and also the evidence that shows holes in it... its called a education. get one...
theREALiceveela 1 year ago
@theREALiceveela Read a science book, dummy.
Don't get it from a religion, they lie.
gregrutz 1 year ago
@gregrutz
once you know what you are talking about, i will respond, because right now you do not seem to understand evolution AT ALL.
good day

@theREALiceveela I do know it has been proven, observed and documented in nature and in the lab. How do you think it happened?
gregrutz 1 year ago
@theREALiceveela What holes?
gamesbok 1 year ago
@gamesbok
what holes? the real question is what evidence? there is more evidence for the existance of the OORT could than there is evidence that we have any relationship with a ape, let alone a rat or a rock.
theREALiceveela 1 year ago
@theREALiceveela I demand of you, and of the whole world, that you show me a generic character ... by which to distinguish between Man and Ape. I myself most assuredly know of none. I wish somebody would indicate one to me. But, if I had called man an ape, or vice versa, I would have fallen under the ban of all the ecclesiastics. It may be that as a naturalist I ought to have done so.

@theREALiceveela The ERVs we share with Apes show that we are related, because the insertion points are identicle. Now this could have happened by chance, a chance of one to ten to the 148th power., and that's just the K type ERVs.
gamesbok 1 year ago
@theREALiceveela Currently Evolution is doing better than gravity. I asked you what holes, and you don't seem to be able to answer.
gamesbok 1 year ago
@gamesbok
i asked you for evidence. you still refuse to provide any.
theREALiceveela 1 year ago
@theREALiceveela What part of the term ERV (Endogenious Rotro Virus) do you not understand?
You made the claim of holes, and refused to substantiate it.
gamesbok 1 year ago
@gamesbok
i understand that it does show we came from a rock 3.7 billion years ago.
