Yes they are wonderful children, and I have 3 that are even more wonderful, helping me. MS is horrible. I wish it could be wiped off the fac e of the earth. If Bush would stop his imbecilic vetoing we might h ave a cure, but Nnnnnnnnooooooooooooooo, he cannot think to do that! Well, if he got MS I wonder what he would then think about STEM CELL RESEARCH?
Have all of you seen the, dission borads at MSrefugees? It's a web site created an run by folks with ms, to replace a commercial site that closed down.
I KNOW EXACLY HOW THEY FEEL...I AM GOING TRU THE SAME THING..IM 18 AND SINCE I WAS 6 I WAS THE CARE GIVER FOR MY MOTHER..SHE ALSO HAS MS but All i can say is that it is a blessing in the longrun
I took care of my dad with MS when I was 16 to 23 until he died. Bathed, clothed, pushed, toilet, catheter, poop cleanup, etc. Then I got MS at 40. Never married so I will just shoot myself when I get worse.
No one should be "made" to take after their parents. I can't speak specifically about your situation, but for me, personally, I would do ANYTHING to help my mother. She has MS and has given me the world even with this debilitating illness. So if the roles are ever reversed, and I know they will be, I will come to her aid without question.
making children caregivers for adults with MS turns their life into a living hell. i was made to do this from age 13 past 20 for my father who had MS. as a result of this i suffer today badly. please Parents, DO NOT turn your children into caregivers or you will be sentencing their adult lives to severe mental health problems
Read my post below. We were Christians at the time and I served my dad honorably. I did not get blessed but got MS for payment. Just for kicks my older (Christian) brother died of ALS leaving his 9 and 13 year old children. Blessing is a myth and has no correlation to reality.
I cried watching my life in this video. I have MS DXD 2005. Parents with MS don't want to depend on others for help let alone their own children.
Please DONATE to the NATIONAL MS SOCIETY and other such programs. Our Children need your help:)

your comment really worried me.
Im a 17 year old girl, my mum is 41 and she has had multiple sclerosis since she was 19 years old.
I know the future is scary but there are people out there who love and care for you.
If you ever need to talk just email or reply.
Lots of love
