  • Funny thing is that peaceful demonstrations are actually legal according to the current constitution ! but only on paper !!!

  • Probably seemed like a really good thing to put in the constitution in order to prevent the goverment from trampling on the people like under the Shah. Up until that is, they wanted to trample on the people themselves.

    Too bad they didn't also give people the right to bare arms. Maybe that can go in the next constitution.
