  • funny video get bend out of shape because u called black

  • yeah Koreans are fucking racist against every race even japs....there is this indian guy who file a law suit and inspired many foreigners in korea for fighting racism alone in Korea

  • i believe the rominazation of the korean word you're talking about is 'naega' which (in the context of the story you mentioned) probably would of been the korean man saying something along the lines of "you should sit here" or something like that.

  • "Nig-ga" in Korean means "You"

  • i have a feeling he just snapped and was angry about his situation in Korea and possibly his treatment their. I'm not saying his behavior was justifiable. It was stupid and uncalled for.

  • that's the way it is --> sheep. you don't like something, change it or do your best. slavery would still exist if whites/blacks and all other races said, 'that's the way it is.' don't cry and complain, just change it! sometimes, you can't and when that's the case, move on. korea might be a gorgeous country, but i have no intention of going there until something changes. Not everyone needs to go to Korea. Go to London, go to Holland [wonderful people], travel and learn...

  • For all the people who think this guy flipped out cause the couple said "niga," the guy KNEW what "niga" meant, considering the fact he was cursing the couple out in FLUENT Korean in the end. I honestly can't see any reason why this guy did what he did. I don't promote violence or hate, but it pisses me off seeing someone treating an elderly person and a female like that. I would have kicked that guys ass had I been on that bus.

  • @iLUVphelps I noticed that too. His accent was REALLY good. I think he was just mentally unstable and off his meds.

  • @iLUVphelps I speak fluent korean and that is hardly from fluent korean. "Niga" means "you" in korean. He probably misheard and went nuts.

A novice mistake. A fun fact... english teachers in korea don't need to know korean to teach english.

  • You are beating the crap out of that picture in the bakround!

  • no more nigas in Korea.

  • @Tom15452 thanks im 1/5 black and im never going to korea.

  • man it had to be more than becauae when the korean said mula the black guy knew he said i dont know. this guy is a English teacher he knows a good portion of the language koreans are known for doing rude shit. moreso than any other asian country

  • Niga = 니가 (You)

i think the old person was gonna say "니가"여기앉아 (you may sit here)

  • I heard the word "Niga" in Taeyang's wedding dress lyrics...

  • FYI:

"니가 여기 않자." (nigga yurgi ahnjur)

    TRANSLATES

    "You can sit here."

It's the Korean language, "You" is written "니가" and is pronounced "nigga".

It sounds the same with the "n-word" but can be mistaken easily if you do not know the Korean language.

  • @joaheyo actually "니가 여기 않자 " is actually pronounced "niga yeogi anja".

  • You sound kind of ignorant in this video, Vic, seriously... Just because someone has brown/black skin, they can't be assumed as black. We have many Brazilians, Hispanic, and Cubans, and Haitian, people who skin color is "black". And people automatically put them in a box as black.

  • @patnchrisnmary

Relevance, Pat? What does that have to do with anything I'm saying? BTW, you're the only one who has apparently pointed this great (??) discrepancy out.

  • @patnchrisnmary You idiot!!!!! Haitians brazilians and cuban people with black skin ARE FUCKING BLACK. Haitians are fully blacks Brazil took african (Blacks) slaves into their county LIKE THE UNITED STATES and cuba has blacks there too dumb ass like all those islands in the Caribbean! All black people come from africa get it? It's easy to tell who's black or not.

    wtf is a black box

  • @patnchrisnmary um haitians are black.... alot of brazilians and hispanic people are black to....

  • @axsmith234 I think he means mixed people like puerto ricans, cubans, and dominican are generally not the same as black because many of them have significant white and native blood, but your right about the haitian part they're all black,so idk what he means then lol.

  • You are sooo right

  • @onceatraveler No that's not what I heard. The old man supposedly told him to quiet down because the guy was talking too loud on the phone (not because he was talking english, what you smoking?). And when he said YOU (nee-ga), the black dude thought he called him the 'N' word. The rest, as you know the dumbass thought he was back in the states and went off like a ghetto rat that he is. He thought he was a tough guy messing with a skinny old man. That was the most cowardly thing I saw in my life.

  • My OPINION is that this incident had nothing to do with race or racism. The attacker is a complete punk that just took advantage of the situation. You can almost guarantee that he wouldn't have responded with the same degree of vigor had it been two strong athletic korean men.It would have just been great if there was another independent black man on the bus that defended the Korean couple & kicked his ass for being such a douche, but I guess even then they'd still be racist commenting on that.

  • @fomiz shut up..i've just looked at your channel and i already know you're a dirty racist hater

  • Comment removed

  • @Traces1000 HAHAHA! Yeah but a racist on which side? What color/race am I? I bet you get it wrong. Furthermore, there is a reason why the "good" and "bad" comments REMAIN on my channel. Think about it genius!

  • This is so sad. When I saw the video, I wished that guy never went to Korea.

  • Oh, dear!..As Tolle says: the world is insane..The video was taken down but I found a reposting via Google under the 'video' search category. Used the same title Victor has posted here. One new name for it is "Thug Arrested After Abusing Elderly Couple On Korean Bus."

Some who see my post might know I'm a chocolate girl & here's what I saw: a very wrong & mentally ill person behaving badly in a country where he seems on some level to be a guest. Can't prove the mental issue from here...

  • @roxanneworld11 ...but I base it on many years of working as a trained health care professional. I've worked long shifts taking care of medical patients - some which were also diagnosed psychiatric patients. Sadly, some people will go straight to 'race' before seeing the obvious: the young man is not at all well. He was awful & violent & rightly should have been arrested, then evaluated by doctors. He did not help any of us (humans/westerners) with that behavior. Every person on that bus...

  • ...gets to keep that terrible memory...I happen to hail from an awesome, multi-ethnic family & I say: few things are worse than human beings continuing to believe in hateful, racist ideas. As a reminder mentioned in another recent video posted at YT [& in contrast to one of the original video comments] both genetics & anthropological science supports facts which tell us: certain 'black' Africans have more in common genetically with 'white' Scandinavians than he or she has with certain...

  • @roxanneworld11 ...other 'black' Africans from other areas on that continent.

Ok, I've definitely posted a lot. Sorry, Victor!...I knew I'd either walk away from this one or share some of my thoughts & 'let her rip.'

I appreciate the video upload & as you've demonstrated before, you're not afraid to tackle controversy. I never worry about what you'll say either because you always [& I think naturally by your wise nature] go for the educated, informed & intelligent commentary...Thank You~

  • Tsuyoshi Shinjo a baseball player who has played in major league was beaten up by a black player in a lockerroom when he drank cup of coffee and said "niga" which means "bitter" in japanese.

  • @kindersurprise8

    Link, please.

  • @Gimmeaflakeman Its a famous story.... but i dont know if it is true or not... btw im japanese

  • @kindersurprise8 I would also appreciate a link, this would be very interesting to me.

  • @misokatsu99 I saw some people saying they heard the story on tv but there's no link thing. whether he was beaten up is not sure but they say the black guy got mad at him is true

  • @kindersurprise8 It's Nigai..

  • @misanthropikbunny there are many ways to say in japanese language if you didn't know like Ita'! for Itai. it means like ouch! same for nigai and niga'!

  • @kindersurprise8 nvm then,I google translated it and that's what it gave me.

  • lol that nigger on korean bus would've been dissected right there on the bus if he were in china or japan, see these rocks? eat it bitch

don't hide behind misunderstanding and who started what, the nigger obviously thought he could safely treat the koreans as if koreans were sub-human

an analogy: getting drunk is invalid as a defense to go out and rape/kill people

if the nigger wasn't racist against the korean, that nigger would've not dared to act out even if he's called nigger to his face

  • @opeeum69

Because using the "N" word makes you look classier then the hostile young man in the aforementioned video. Seriously, one wrong does not make a right. What happened to that poor Ahjussi was horrible and totally uncalled for. Your language is just as abusive and uncalled for. The truth is this: people need to learn how to treat each with respect, and love regardless of race and ethnicity. Don't use ugliness to fight ugliness. Nobody wins when that happens.

  • @pepperjackchanning lol tell that to bin ladin

  • Yes "ni ga" means "you". "Ni" is "you" and "ga" is a particle to indicate that it is a subject rather than object in the sentence.

  • the whole thing with N*ger is pretty much all down to upbringing. I mean sure the word came from a oppressive nature but it aint like we all use supposedly rude words to offend someone. Man, im chinese and i let people call me chink. it aint cause my friends are trying to offend me, its just funny that way, its like reverse-respect. they respect me because i dont find them calling me chink offensive. its all about character.

  • Wow just watched it and oh my gosh!

Black hip hop culture at it's finessed lol

You want that shit Japan? You see his rocks!!!

  • not many contries like méxico may refer to people with adjectives without being racist..... here is not a big deal!

we have black people 2.. not african-americans and they dont get offended if some 1 refer to them as black!!! so african-americans !!stop bitching about it!!aren't you proud of being the way you are!!! im Mexican & im proud!! & if you don't like us to bad cos i love all contries!!

  • @eviljac im "african-american" and i dont have a problem with being called black, i agree with u completely

  • This has probably already been posted but my understanding is that the Korean man said "Ni ga yo gi anja" which means "you can sit here" (ni ga=you, yo gi=here, anja=sit).

  • The incident was actually started by the older man telling the foreigner to shut up (apparently he was talking on his cell phone in English on the bus).

  • @onceatraveler

    Link please?

  • @Gimmeaflakeman Check out blogs like Gusts of Popular Feeling and The Marmot's Hole

  • @Gimmeaflakeman Bro you can be the next rosetta stone lol you can teach people foreign languages.

  • @onceatraveler the older man said "shut up" b/c the black guy was speaking too loudly in the bus, NOT b/c he was speaking in english. the black guy must've been rly loud that the older man had to say shut up to him b/c koreans don't usually speak up, they rather walk away from the situation. in this case it happened in a moving bus where everyone's stuck w/ this loud foreigner w/ no public etiquette, so someone had to do something about it to shut him up.

  • the guy was out of line. If your going to another country, learn the language and don't make an ass out of yourself.

  • @Volf99 very true

  • 5:50 Hey you stole my quote LOL jk

I notice that most of americans tend to be agressive with this kind of topics and they take it seriously.....more than people from other countries.

  • Coming from a spanish culture, I feel weird that in America so many people are so fixated in the race issue. Why do so many people got to be so fixated on this? why can we all just be the human race?

  • Because the races evolved seperately for 10.000s of years when they came out of Africa. For most of our history, every person you knew in your tribe looked like you, if you would come across person that you didn't know he would most likely be your enemy since you hunt the same animals and his tribe could kill off yours. You would never see a person of another race, if you did, he would instantly be your enemy. A black man in a bus with east Asians is very unnatural, but so is everything else.

  • @wtfisditvoorbullshit I understand your point, but we have evolved beyond tribes. Look at the internet, the entire world is talking to one another. Why can we just be one race?

  • @supacoqui It would be better for the future of humanity that we all get along. But actually, our brain is the same as someone from 50.000 years ago. There are people who still live in tribes. We're the same human, the only thing changed are our surroundings with all its modernity. The way I see it, mankind is a violent animal with a very big brain. I think our biggest enemy is ourselfs.

  • @ktfx01 I know :) Boku wa chotto nihongo o dekimasu.

  • Wow, i don't even wan to comment on that video at the video. that place is full of hate. I'm not even trying to defend the guy, his actions are disgusting! but why isn't anyone doing anything? someone said that the other passengers are telling him to be patient. i dunno, i wouldn't sit it out. and i wouldn't allow for others to be abused and assaulted in this situation.

  • That was not cool at all. It does reflect a whole ethnicity of people. It reflects his inability to control himself. Are you from Spain?

  • O K Apart from this Conversation , But And i want to take it to a differant place,

so society and sexuality is in as we say is parted because of politics .

Though in japaN sexuality is pretty linient , and should , there is

no wrong with the human race and behaviour ?

  • Watched the video and it literally made my stomach queasy. Two things. 1- I can't believe he thought that sweet little old couple would really say something vulgar to him. 2- Even if they *did* call him something vulgar, that *still* would not be the proper way to handle it. He needs to man the hell up. Only 4-year-olds make that much fuss over being called a name.

  • Just watched the video, and my face was in my palm about :30 seconds. This video is going to give black people a bad rep in the minds of the ignorant, closed-minded, and that in itself is a tragedy. Instead, people should blame him as an individual instead of clumping him in there with the rest of the Black Race. Had he just known a little Korean, this situation would have probably been completely avoided.

  • @SweetPhil people blamed whites when the single blond UCLA girl made her YouTube video. Why should this video be treated different?

  • @Volf99

I blame that white chick for this too.

  • @Gimmeaflakeman haha

  • @ktfx01 I did not think of this, but this is very possible. I have been to Egypt once and while it was great. It was very very disconcerting to be somewhere where you did not completely know the language and culture. (I did experience paranoia. The thing that kept me cool was that I had some good friends that were from there)

  • 니가 (ni-ga) is a word for you, but it is not common/standard dialect, so even if the suspect knew some Korean, he might not know that word (which of course, is still not an excuse at all in any shape or form).

  • Sound like el negrito needs to take some chill pills!

  • I think that the whole world will eventually realize that black people are emotionally out of control.

    Less evolved really.

  • @ktfx01 woops, I accidentally deleted a reply.

  • @ktfx01 I wasn`t there, so I don`t know for sure, but sounds like he thought you weren`t very fluent in English so he kept the message as basic and short as possible. He either wanted you to change seats or get up from your seat for a moment. Maybe English wasn`t his first language? Just because he`s white it doesn`t mean he`s a fluent English speaker.

  • @ktfx01 Typing in Korean would be a bit difficult. I have to go to the supermarket. Nice talking to you.

  • @ktfx01 How can you know any of this from a 1:19 second video? Why would you prefer to believe the internet or your own guesses over two different professional news reports? "In my guess, he(the old man) forgot 'Be quiet'." Why would you make this guess? I already said he probably used the expression, "Shut up" not knowing how strong an expression it is, as this is often the case with my young beginner students.

  • @ktfx01 Japanese has something similar. Some of the rules are different, so Korean classmates have made mistakes when trying to use polite speech in Japanese.

  • Comment removed

  • Even if the old man did insult the black guy, he didn't deserve violence.

  • @ktfx01 Why is this even relevant? The reports say he said, "Shut up" which is widely known in Korea by NON ENGLISH speakers. 2011-61 = 1950 unless of course the given age is a Korean age in which case he'd be a year younger. My Korean wife's father WAS alive during the Japanese colonial period but he forgot the rudimentary Japanese he knew as a young boy.

  • Wow, that black guy that got pissed on the bus or train, he doesn't necessarily has to be in Korea if he's going to get offended for words that sound offensive in English.

He needs to understand that he's not in an English speaking country!!!! What a moron.

  • @ktfx01 "They=Old Korean people. who was born in Korea during Japan colonial rule. 1920,1930,early 1940s." He wasn't. If he's 61 [as the news reports say] he wasn't alive during the colonial period. Do the math. Dude! I've lived in Korea for 11 years. I have no reason to believe the Korean man is anything but an ordinary Korean man and neither do you.

  • @ktfx01 "They speak fluent Japanese" Who is "they"? Koreans? Because if that's what you meant, I'm sorry that is not true. The second part of your post I don't understand. I teach in Korea. I specialized in beginner levels for several years I know my students knew "Shut up" from the beginning. And I've had to teach them that it can be a very rude expression.

  • @ktfx01 Well, you can believe who you like. But I consider the likelihood of the 61 year old Korean guy being misunderstood while offering a seat [when the video doesn't show one] to a young black man out of politeness to be LESS likely than the police reports being correctly reported by two different news papers that say the Korean man told him to "Shut up" and insulted him in Korean because he was being loud late at night on a crowded bus.

  • @ktfx01 It can mean different things. "You need to get out" could mean you need to do something (fun) outside of your house and work/school. Or you need to leave wherever you are, which can be intentionally rude. "get out" can also be used to express disbelief in what someone is saying but it`s not necessarily a negative expression.

  • @ktfx01 That's exactly what my Korean wife said. However that's not what the reports in the Korea times or Jungang ilbo said. I consider it a definite possibility because of the man's inability to speak English he may have used the expression ,"Shut up" without appreciating the gravity of it.

  • Koreans are very respectful of others and would not insult someone out of the blue, they are very educated. This man having the stupid attitude that he has did not even bother asking what the man said...

  • Ok , so if he thought that the Korean guy called him A "nigger", couldn't he have been like, "excuse me did you just call me a "nigger?" Why does he have to get right up in their face and start shit and start punching him in the face?? jesus fucking christ how about you learn how to act like ! ESPECIALLY when you're in another country representing America.

  • I'm suspecting the "Niga yogi anjayo" [a polite offer of a seat] is made up. Why? There is no seat near inby in the video. Both Korea Times and Jungang Ilbo report the older man told the young American to "Shut up" and insulted him in Korean.

  • this is just unfortunate. is it not possible for a korean person to deliberately call a black person a "nigger"? the black guy would not have known that, neither did he know what the korean word meant. to him it was just an racist insult. and i don't suppose racist insults are acceptable in south korea, so it wasn't a cultural thing. it was just a language thing. the old dudes were just speaking korean. like i said, it was just an unfortunate incident

  • @ktfx01 Not everything. The spelling of certain words is different and some commonly used phrases and words may differ. For example, at least some English people use "knocked back" for the act of having rejected the romantic/sexual advances of another.

  • @ktfx01 Thanks for explaining

  • @Niggeritarian You're quite right, of course. The London Olympics take place next year. I invite you to come over here and use the word liberally and with abandon.

  • To those people who conclude this issue as an consequence of misunderstanding: NAIVE

  • @ktfx01 You really didn`t need to post all of these examples. It can be difficult, but I think I`m probably okay with the sounds. What`s really difficult for me is Spanish or Italian because I can`t roll my Rs. That and proper intonation, but that`s a problem people have when learning all kinds of new languages, not just Korean.

  • Thank god for your video. Cos seriously that guy is SERIOUSLY SLLY! Learn the basic words before you get to the country! HONSTELY HOW DARE HE PUNCH THAT ELDERY!! GOsh that man is going to get haunted!!

  • you, you and you need to calm the fuck down....if you don't, i'll punch you.

  • That black man is an idiot to act the negative American stereotype and to assume that a Korean in his OWN country would use that term. He's in no white bigotted hick town in the south! What an absolute idiot. He better get deported.

  • Why does it matter we're humans. -_-

  • Comment removed

  • It's overly PC in America. The people that said to you "Why you had to call him 'black'" were probably anything but black. You all don't need to take offense for another race.

  • Not to join the hate train but... If he had tried something like that in China he would probably been fish food within a few mins-hours. Japanese and Koreans are far less likely to retaliate in violence; and typically would be paralyzed by shock at such violence. Hes lucky no Mobsters needed a bus that night~

I guess there's guna be no foreigner signs on buses now *mumbles

Anti American movement in Korea has gotten enough fuel as is...

  • did he get arrested? cos I hope he did. I understand that he misunderstood what the korean man was saying but still, he should never have hit him. Just because you hear someone calling you something bad doesn't give you the right to hit them! Hitting them just makes you the worse person.

  • Obviously just another wannabe "B" star trying 2 get paid..been ever increasing in Japan for the past decade. (A good portion of foreign crime rate n drug trafficking.) He obviously wasn't there for sightseeing...else he would know some "of" Korea and had been prepared. Korea is far most intolerant to Blacks then Japan. (Generalization) This kinda thing is just sad to see; because it will stain how they see blacks even more; which isnt fair to decent people. They judge books by covers as a norm.

  • watch?v=iNMk9qj2Vao&feature=mfu_in_order&list=UL

a nasty nigger sexually harrassing an innocent girl in a subway

hispanics call asian males "chinito" which means little chinese or chinese boy regardless of an asian male's age and it is perfectly fine with hispanics so ill call any hispanic with "-ito" whichever their nationality happens to be for example if a mexican calls me as "chinito" then ill call him "mexicanito".

  • Some people over react to things they are overly sensitive of. If you are that easily provoked to anger or violence, by a word or perceived insult, you have lost all respect from me. If there is something in your life that is that tender to you, maybe you should stay home. I try to respect everyone and if I feel they are being disrespectful of me, I would never let them know this.

  • So "Niga" means " You". In what country is it acceptable to call people "You"?

Black dude lost his temper but the old dude was being rude. Someone calls me "you", it's not going to be a pleasant conversation.

  • @MrKoize

Really? Well,YOU need to calm the fuck down, Mr. Koize. (Luckily I know your name.)

  • @Gimmeaflakeman

BTW, in what country is it acceptable to punch old people?

  • @Gimmeaflakeman It's never acceptable to punch old people.

  • @Gimmeaflakeman I am calm :)

  • @MrKoize The old Korean man said "you" in the sense of "you can sit here", not as in "hey, you!", understand now?

  • @congminghouzi941 u cant talk no sense into a nigger stop wasting ur time they aren't capable of critical thinking and dont possess any morality the nigger u r responding to is only after one thing and that is to defend his fellow nigger and he wont be doing that if it happened to his nigger grandaddy.

  • mrkoize is a stupid nigger charcoal faced BBQ hypocrite monkey which believes in nigger superiority over human race and has been watching too many "rise of the planet of the apes" movies.

  • @ MrKoize pretty much the entire East lol... Thats right theres an entire nother world over there with a larger population then the entire world that talks, acts, and eats differently... They were not being rude lol....Black dude was being ignorant... and probably just made most of Korea hate Black people for another 500 years... (sarcasm; but seriously thats how they do there; you cant bring a western pov to an eastern country and fit in.

How was the old guy being rude? ..wow

  • @MrKoize em, in what country is it not acceptable to call someone you? That korean man was trying to say to the black man that he can sit there. So basically, the korean man was saying to the black man 'you can sit here' What other word do you think should he have said instead of 'you'?

  • @TheLollipopAhh "Cheese Toast" is more appropriate :) Cheese Toast can sit here.

  • @MrKoize Addressing someone by the second person pronoun is acceptable in many cultures. In some languages there are forms of the pronoun that are specifically used to communicate politeness. In many European languages this means using the plural "you" to refer to individuals. Don't assume that your cultural association with the use of the word "you" are universal across all cultures and languages.

  • @MrKoize

So calling someone "you" deserves a violent reaction?

    Really?

  • @MrKoize Are you kidding? Well I refer to a person with nothing but you, just like in mostly every other country when you make an offer...according to witnesses he said 'would YOU like to sit here?'

What would you have said??? 'Hey there, Mister in the weird clothes, wanna sit here?' Well that explains everything. From now on I will call you Unknown Guy so that I won't offend you- ops called you 'you', sorry.

  • @MrKoize "In what country is it acceptable to call people you"? Answer: Sweden. Absolutely nothing rude about saying "du" ("you") to someone in Swedish. Come on, you cannot automatically assume that all languages have the same form as English :P

  • @arbide3 very true, even in spanish. In some countries it is ok to say you, in others it feels to direct.

  • They probably said 니가 (Niga) which means you in Korean, or 내가 (Naega) which is I in Korean which caused the miss-understanding.

  • Am I my brother's keeper? I can't speak to every black male out there. We are our own people. And have to be responsible for our own actions. There are many white serial killers but are all white people killers. Each race has their own bad seeds so take it as it is.

  • the chocolate man has big temper problem

  • Thank you for the video.

  • Yea i seen that video on liveleak a couple days ago. I was completely disgusted by the way that guy reacted towards the elderly couple. People like him are why Americans in general are looked down upon across the world.

  • @ktfx01 Learning the basics isn`t so hard. I know Americans who`ve learned a good bit of Korean and they studied on their own. I am studying Japanese and I want to start to learn Korean in the future.

  • @ktfx01 With that guy, I don`t think it was culture shock. He seems like the sort that will get in someone`s face and cause a scene at the drop of the hat. There are people like that, guys and girls. He`s the kind of guy that`s more likely to get involved in a fight (verbal and/or physical) at a bar or club over something stupid another person said, instead of just ignoring the guy and trying to have fun.

  • Woah, saw the video. The guy was overreacting.

  • @ktfx01 Yeah, but you don't go crazy from it and start yelling at people and start beating the crap out of them. The "environment" does not influence that, your history of how you were brought up does.

  • @ktfx01 "So, everything is not a perfect. Be predict and be cautious.

That is the best way to prepare go abroad or new places." This is very very good advice for traveling abroad. As a foreigner there are a lot of problems you can run into. It's good to be cautious and understanding when going to another country ^__^ and if you run into problems to try and not let them affect you. I think the best kind of traveler is one that's both easy going while still being cautious

  • @ktfx01 What danger? You feel anxiety and intimidation from drill sergeants, not overwhelming fear. Once again I say something's wrong with you. If you feel some sort of danger in the army, you're a wus and not fit for duty. Everyone does not feel danger in new circumstances to where they need to go ape shit like that black, overgrown monkey. Not everyone's mentally unstable like him and you. There are some cultures in America where they endorse violence and immaturity. That's what your seeing.

  • What I don't understand is that if you're in another country how can people not understand that there are words in other languages that sound like bad words in your own. I forget which word but my Korean friend told me that one English word sounds kind of like a Korean curse word. And I know Japanese and Chinese also have words that sound like the N word. It's best to be easy going when in places where you don't understand even the language. This is such a sad incident :<

  • @ktfx01 WTH are you talking about? If you honestly go through paranoia when visiting another country, you need to see a doctor and get some medications. Either that, or you need to stop visiting other countries... You know what that feeling is, of thinking everyone is laughing and insulting you? It's called schizophrenia. Get some help. You know what normal people do? They ignore that shit in other countries. Smart people put in the possibility it may be a misunderstanding. Thugs ain't so smart.

  • @hubbabubbarubbalubba

I agree with ktfx01 on their statement about the feeling of being in another country....though "paranoia" was a poor choice for a word, I suppose. Maybe "nervous" or "uncomfortable" better describes what ktfx01 meant. You may not feel uncomfortable, but I know many people who have traveled outside of their country and felt scared and uncomfortable because they weren't confident in their mannerism or skill with the language. You're also in an area unknown to you.

  • @hubbabubbarubbalubba I think they were talking about a different kind of paranoia, not2 the extreme level you're thinking of. When I stayed in Germany I was constantly worried about doing things that were culturally wrong/rude, I was very cautious about how I acted. This kind of paranoia was extra strong bcause I knew very little about Germany&I only knew how2 say thank u in German. There were a couple times when I got yelled @ &I said (eng)sry, they realized I didn't understand&then let me b

  • @indigopocky I think attitude is the most important thing, it's okay to be paranoid about certain things when going to another country but it's a completely different thing to got batshit insane paranoid where you fly off the handle.

  • @indigopocky That's not paranoia, that's anxiety.

  • The black guy probably feels really stupid right about now lol

  • @Cyrus150 its contradictions of statements which are making Victor's statements.....less than valid. To take a minute an 26 seconds to say make one claim at the beginning of the video and contradict it all throughout the Video is contradictory and is why I am calling Victor out on this.....As far as offensive goes..I believe offense is usually taken more than given.

  • @ktfx01

exactly! and know one will truley understand that feeling until they leave their home country. good cooment

  • "Neega" means "you are/can". It's weird too, it doesn't even sound like the racist version of the word. It sounds like what black people say to each other. What the fucks wrong with that guy?... He's way too sensitive.

  • "you can sit here" sounds like something that was probably in a pamphlet somewhere on his journey to Korea. but maybe he cant read:(

  • @victor Then finally you Request viewers to send similar responses....as if to so more people are going to share their stories of black men with dreadlocks and sportswear...harrassing people who ride public transportation.....Dude, I know you not saying Overtly...however it looks like a duck and sound like a duck from this side of the lake.

  • Victor In your opening comments you took a minute and twenty six seconds to say you are not using the word Black as a slur but as a point of reference.that is you were being discriptive not derogatory.. Then you describe how the guy looked...His dreadlocks and sportswear..Why is this important or relevant to his actions in the video..Toward the end of the video (5:41) You make the comment I kinda can't blame everyone for judgeing blacks based on this guy.... see my next post

  • @focusonjs3000 He said he can't blame people for judging blacks based on this guy because "people are stupid". Which may be kind of a contradictory statement, but it's clearly not offensive. It just shows that he doesn't think very highly of the average human being in general.

  • Hey @gimmeaflakeman thanks for the shout out!!

  • damn! lol someone needs to learn some Korean! ;) I feel bad for that couple though ;\

What an ignorant asshole that guy was!!! Thanks for the vid, Sensei! ;)

  • Not only was he being physically agressive to an older couple, but even if a younger couple in Amercia has actually insulted him with the n word would his actions have been justifiable. Physical violence is only acceptable in personal defence. There were many better ways to deal with the situation, even in another language. Regardless of race, his actions were completely unnessecary.

  • what!!! victor owned a bar! i want to hear all the stories that were lost from this chapter. like T from the trilogy of the rat...

  • I'm a Social Psychologist, I'm also black. I'm quite aware that pigmentation is not a behavioural determiner. My point put bluntly this time, is that (as I said before) "IN THIS CASE" race is paramount coz a N is a derogatory word for blacks.People of all races find the word offensive but I doubt a lone white person on a bus full of Koreans'd be overly outraged at it's perceived usage. His actions are another matter entirely, I wasn't even discussing that. As for being fatalistic, if that was
