I personally think the vulcan (the name used before nighthawk, had a completely different model) was a cooler name.

@pivotnaza the predator was a fighter craft that functioned similar to the Valkerie from starcraft 1, at the time the viking was produced out of the factory in its ground form and the air form had to be researched. but when the viking was moved to the starport it replaced the predator. (the name was later carried over to some dog-like gimmick that is used in the campaign) there are only maybe one or two pictures of the original predator out there so it probably was not around very long.

They have to give it large and cartoonish limbs because of the distance from which youre seeing it. It's like stage makeup - you have to exagerate it to get the right effect.

if they tried to give it realistic proportions you'd end up with a reedy looking figure like the ones you get in C&C games.

Science vessels where scrapped for SC2, they got replaced by nighthawk, Goliath was replaced by the viking, and the vulture was more or less replaced by the hellion, but now with AOE attacks.

This is in part so the game feels different but also to allow for some nice new mechanics.

I like better the Medivacs, Nighthawks, Helions that replaced the Dropships, Science Vessels, and vultures 'cause they have dual purposes and improvement. However, I don't think the viking is better than the goliaths, because the vikings have a shorter range for air units than Goliaths which is a very counter attack to guardians.Well that's my first impression

True, but the vultures ability to be air or ground means against any ground bombardment air unit, it will will. And after braving a volley of missiles it can go to ground to attack Mturrets with immunity. While weak in many areas this does also give it more tactical flexibility in others.

No marauder shoots rockets and is very taugh against armour of any type. (But ive seen a firebat too. but I don´t know where :D) And the viking is a sort of Goliath, thats right. I would propose to watch the Starcraft II Battle reports. Its very interesting and you learn a lot about the units and new tactics :D

This looks like crap! why do you need a marauder and the reaper, nighthawk and banshee? Really, Blizzard, this is useless. The only new unit that looks like it has potential is that viking, now thats cool! Reaper, really. Why the F*** do they have pistols? Why not a arm cannon, then they could present something like the propulsion suits in the G.I.Joe movie. But pistols vs. plasma shields, yeah! I just hope they jacked up the armour of the air units.
