Man that sucks. I have a 95 with the 7.3 5 speed and it kinds idles ruff but it doesnt skipp. The shop said it sound like its a cylender down but I think its an injector. Nice lookn truck by the way. Hope you get her fixed.

Sounds like you gotta bad injector, hence the blue smoke, either that or the ceramics in your turbo are shot too. . ran good

What happen to it? cracked? melted due to over fueling (bad injector), etc?

Well im not to sure. Fords said i need a compression check. But the motor has been extreamly good. Its never had to much blow by. There sayin cracked ring or piston but i think it would cause a ton of blow by. I has the injectors tested there fine. So im hopeing its prolly a valve issue.

Does it sound like the #6 cyl. is skipping? That would be a loss of compression. How many miles? Those 7.3L's last forever.

Well i cant tell wich one is skipping. But its got a dead cyclinder. Its got 215k miles and never really been mistreated.
