The thing is that tea partiers are good at coding their language. Although the tea party leader let his racism slip when he went on a rant against black people a few months ago. And lastly to the folks saying OHH I saw a confederate flag at a tea party rally. That doesn't automatically imply racism. It is a part of southern heritage. I have seen many of them at nascar which also has some diversity yet I have not seen racial spectator violence. It was the Civil Rights Movement which brought together black and whites.
