Queston:it's caliber .22 because of the canadian legislation (I suppose the vidéo was made by a canadian:) and did you bought it online or at a"the local gun store"???
@sylhetypolasab I think I have around about $1200 invested in the gun. Sounds like a lot, but when you think about how fun it is to shoot and how cheap the ammo is compared to an AR15 or something to that sort it isn't all that bad
I like how a lot of people commented negatively towards this but I read the caption on the video. You didn't say it was on a form 1 just stated it was legal, you also did say it wasn't on a form 1 as well, IMHO I wouldn't feel obligated to tell some one that its on what ever ATF Form, and I really really doubt the ATF is going to waste there time on youtube to bust someone with a "possible" unregistered NFA weapon, sound like a lot of expense for a big maybe. good build bro keep it up
@0351kline thank you.. I appreciate the positive comments and totally agree with you. This is one of my favorite guns and will post another video once I get my suppressor for it.
@pause112 The brand is just a GSG product. I can't remember where exactly I ordered it but I paid $110 dollars for it. If you go to CDNN sports online you can get it for like $79.99 I think
@GateZ1988 Sweet, yeah I heard that the gsg drum is lots better any way...You should make a vid shooting 110 tracer rounds or something that would be sweet.
@pause112 Yeah just got back from shooting the drum today and is still flawless. Use CCI ammo though. I would like to do tracer rounds but is kinda spendy. I may do a night shoot though to see the muzzle flash.
@pause112 I got the bolt upgrade kit through rrages.com. Think I paid around $15 for it. Seem to help, but just make sure everytiime you clean your gun you tighten down the screws.
@Kay0815chopper thank you for the compliments. Although everyone who sees this video is obviously pissed off because they can't manage to have one. So I can't wait to post the video with my new suppressor to see what they all have to say! Anyways thank you.
Tommy is correct. Unless you have a tax stamp for that SBR, don't be too surprised if the ATF / FED come knocking on your door with a search & seisure warrant and / or a hefty little fine along with it. Not much you can do now except get a stamp since this video already confirm that you are in possesion of it.
I can't remember for sure but I think I got the stock through rrages.com. Just search the web and you should be able to find one pretty easy. Ran me $100 bucks though.
no, I didn't do any modifications at all to the magazine. It's plain stock right out of the box. I did however do the bolt upgrade kit with new allen screws, which I think helped out the reliability. Maybe try some different types of ammo if you haven't already.
@GateZ1988 that is a short barreled rifle and without a tax stamp is a federal offence to own.you haven't seen many like them because it is illegal to have a front hand grip and stock on a pistol length barrel,
@tommysracing66 No victim, no crime, so you can shove your federal tax stamp, up where the sun never shines. Not every bends ass up in the air for the BATF, nor does everybody live in fucked up unfree America with its BS laws and fake illusionary freedom. If you never voted on a law, its a non-binding contract without your signature on it, and therefore such an agreement between men you've never met, doesn't apply to you.
Whether you like it or not its still the law and its US the law abiding citizens/firearm enthusiasts that take the heat for this kind of trash that people do. Apperantly you dont care to go to jail and pay those fines but I do. Thats why people like me paid the $200 to have a LEGAL SBR. I guess if you dont like our laws and feel they dont apply to you, go rob a bank and say you didnt agree with the law that says you cant perform armed robbery. See how far that gets you pal.
@BlackGunBlues first of all how do you know that I didn't already pay the $200 dollar tax stamp for this firearm? Did I say that I did or did not? The Tac 65 suppressor I ordered still hasn't come available to me because I'm still waiting on the ATF to approve everything. So try not to make assumptions that my firearm is illegal without knowing anything about it
Chances are you didnt do it anyhow. Also you look to be about 16. Most people that post SBRs up make a claim right off the bat about "this is on a form4" so people dont come at them...... Besides who wastes their money SBRing a .22?
@BlackGunBlues my question is if you think its a waste of money to sbr a .22 then why are you wasting your time arguing over the subject or even watched this video for that fact. and actually I'm only 13 years old.
Im online watching reviews on a lage conversion for my m11/9.
Well if you are only 13 then that would most certainly be an illegal firearm on many levels. Go to bed you have school in the morning. Besides I was originally arguing the fact that somebody else said the govt can shove their $200 stamp. Simply put if you want to stay out of prison you need one. That $200 could save you up to $250,000. So id say its worth it whether you're legal or not. Just give the legal guys a bad rep
@BlackGunBlues if I were truly 13 I doubt I would be in posession of this firearm. And please post a video of your own sometime so people can tell you what you can and cannot do or own.
@tommysracing66 Oh gee golly.. well I guess I had better throw it in the trash then aye?? oh wait...I think I'm going to throw a suppressor on it to make it even better!!!
Hey another question... Just received my drum and wouldn't ya know it, jams like crazy... Did you do anything special to yours to get it to fire right?
@Cm0n3y765 I bought the quadrail through rrages.com. I think I paid around $129 for it which is kind of expensive, but worth it. The gun came with the 9 inch barrel, but I know there are some companies who are building and selling aftermarket short barrels similar to this.
Sloppy trigger discipline.
