  • Hmm is "dive deep" like "OU812" ?

  • Judie Tzuke sings and co-wrote "Enjoy the Ride" and "Blue Chair" on this album, also does "Hurt in Your Heart" on the John Martyn tribute album

  • 9 people can't run!!!

  • My dad is just standing in our living room, talking shit about my mum... And all I can think to myself is "Run, Honey, Run" so I just close my eyes and turn the volume up to forget about that stuff....

  • Epic! I love you guys. My soul dances with your music, that's priceless.

  • Reminds me of Rox in the Box by the Decemberists :) Thumbs up if you agree

  • great song and a new artists to look back into. Thx for the upload. I'm always seeking great music.

  • Great blend of acoustic & electronic ~ keeps the cover honest. Love the vocals. Who's singing?

  • @steelyman08 John Martyn

  • @damienwm1994

Yes, on the original, but I'm wondering who the vocalist is with Morcheeba on this track. I know the original John Martyn track from London Conversation.

  • @steelyman08 Morcheeba featuring Bradley Burgess.

  • @stfn314

    Thank you (-:

  • @stfn314

Not quite Morcheeba, if you know what i mean...

  • @steelyman08

The voice is by Bradley Burgess

  • Been to their concert and they sung this song and live sounds even better, great artists they know how to make a show

  • What an excellent rendition of John's song. Filled out very nicely. The original was just John on his own with an acoustic guitar. :)

  • I love this song:) one of my cherished songs!

  • John Martyn wrote this when he was just seventeen i think. When most of us were squeezing spots into the mirror!

  • i love this song

  • absolute love

  • Saw them live last summer in Romainia(peninsula) They kick ass in live shows

  • I like the country vibe this gives me. I don't really like Morcheeba's other music, but I really like this album. I can't explain it, it is exactly what I was looking for. I need this vibe that the songs give

  • @TheSquidni If it feels good!

  • ME ENCANTA

  • It's not a Gordon Lightfoot vibe, it's a John Martyn vibe - the original's on London Conversation.

I heard this version in a bar about a month ago, but thought it didn't sound like straight Morcheeba. Lo and behold, it's genius JM.

  • The most haunting track from one of my favorite albums of all time! I love each and every single song on it! I used to like Morcheeba but with Dive Deep they took it to another level!

  • the trip hop arrives

  • pure awesomeness

  • I heard this song the other day and now I can't get it OUT OF MY HEAD. It stays with you in a good way. The chorus reminds me of an old Gordon Lightfoot song...anybody else getting the same thing?

  • yeah I hear ya..... btw gordon lightfoot is the man

  • @ThePopcyclePete Yea man a trippy Gordon lightfoot..or should I say trippier :)

  • Anyone else getting a real Bioshock vibe from this song and album cover?

  • me! love at first sight for me

  • nice X_X

  • this music makes my terrible government homework bearable. thank you for posting this.

  • every song by morcheeba is good in its own way

    its crazy

  • have to agree. They are way underrated. I likie how they name songs after their love for analog audio: tape loop, moog island!

  • love hippies!

  • Not bad... Original is way better though... John martin makes the song realy emotional

  • I agree, John Martyn gives this song much more emotional depth. This is a good cover for Morcheeba.

  • hahahaa

  • My favorite song from an album that won my heart! Excellent!

  • shades of gordon lightfoot

  • arketa kalooOoooOo 5/5

  • Niiice sonng... Full of Talent ! <3 !

  • Very nice... thanks for the quality upload :)

  • yup the quality is pretty crystal clear

  • nahh...it lacks a harder bass line imo :/

  • the bassline is class bro.

  • your eyes playing tricks xD but i see it too:D

  • Maybe it's just my eyes playing tricks on me, but the artwork in the video looks like it's getting bigger.

  • @XYChromosome im in drugs too!!!

  • @XYChromosome yea stare at it long enough!

  • @XYChromosome you're just diving deeper and deeper :D

  • @XYChromosome It's your expanded view of reality that allows you to see this effect. The lyrics in all Morcheba have an expanded meaning for those at higher frequincies. I just recently was able to comprehind and if you don't I hope you soon will. this

  • @XYChromosome it is huh? XD

  • @XYChromosome : i see it too. i think we're all doomed

  • If i'm not wrong it's an original John Martyn song.

  • from where&how do you download?

    please.

  • If you really like a band and you like the stuff you downloaded please be so kind to buy their albums, too.

  • I would, but I can't. I can't seem to find them nowhere where I live. They're not famous around here, so it's pratically impossible for me. Trust me, I would love to have their albums...

  • countryside of Brazil. like I said, they're not known around here.

  • yeah, it's hard...so use vixy to convert youtube videos for now and buy an album later...

  • This is a timeless track beautiful lyrics and Morcheeba have done Martyn proud.

  • I love this version its a classic track that has'nt dated. Perfect.

  • incredible voice! kinda sexy i think...

  • this guy's voice is SO beautiful.. can't stand! i want to marry him haha

  • they never disappoint

  • Nice ;)

  • The song is by John Martyn and released in 1967 on the album London Conversation. This is a really faithful cover--and brings back great memories for us old folk

  • @jeestirling Reminds me of Roy Harper's "South Africa". Great guitar on both.

  • Chill guys. I think the "cover" being referred to is the album cover art in the video.

No one's accusing Morcheeba of "covering" a song.

  • They most certainly did cover this song. It rocks, though.

  • Don't you know John Martyn?????????

  • Don't you know John Martyn?????????

  • run honey run by john martyn dumb ass
