That ESP in the vid is the second run of Vipers. The first run had dot inlays, all mahogany and Sperzel tuners. The second run had what you have here, flag inlays maple cap *on some and usually Gotoh locking tuners.
Either way, great guitars all made in Japan and the QC on them puts Gibson to shame.
@tokojojiji ESPs are now made in Japan. There was a point where some were made in the US, but no new ESP guitar is made outside of Japan. LTD's are currently made in Korea, Indonesia, and China...
@mrichman Made in USA has nothing to do with how good a guitar is , Look at Gibson , ''Made in the USA , and is the biggest piece of shit to hit the market this year!''
@Shink5 i wouldnt say its better than a gibson i would say that its more based on opinion because everyone like different styles for me i like ibanez better than any other company but to some they say ibanez is worthless...this is a great guitar i love it but i love the sound of the sg zoot suit alot better
@Shink5 again thats stipulation thats ur opinion however esp and gibson could be concidered rival factors because both have great quality they are pretty equal sometimes such as the past year esp has been dominating and then some years the year before last for example gibson comes out with stuff that beats esp quality
@MrTheCircle Yeh but you compare how Gibson is doing to how ESP is doing , and gibsons 3000$ imo should be worth around 500$ because im talking about the craftsmanship , Gibsons Craftsmanship is terrible , while i bought an Ltd Mh350nt 4 months ago and i havent had a single problem with it
@Shink5 i just got a brand new gibson sg zoot suit a year ago and havent had a problem with it its the best feeling guitar ive played...my favorite company is ibanez tho i love the heavy metal set pickups and everyone knows that ibanez is the best company to buy from for heavy metal
@MrTheCircle Nah , Id say the best company's for metal , Are ESP and Bcrich , but id say Ibanez are best for Instrumental stuff , Cause they dont sound too heavy but not too light , and they have a warmer sound
@Shink5 well i'll admit that esp is great for metal everyone knows that but bcrich isnt really a great company any more..ibanez is also great on instrumentals i agree to that too just look at satriani and vai...but ibanez is awesome with metal guitars, look at the matt bachand ibanez mbm-2 bk
@MrTheCircle Yeh i know Ibanez are great for metal too , Because their pretty much in my top 5 company's , but Bcrich still makes great guitars imo , Like the Pro X Mockingbird , Or the Nj Deluxe series. But yeh me my top 3 are : ESP , Ibanez and Bcrich
@MrTheCircle Well Fenders are good for that but id say you should get an Ibanez S prestige series , Cause it has split coil and its very versatile , so you could go from a more Led zeppelin kind of sound to a more Buddy guy / Jeff beck kind of sound.
@Shink5 haha man now ur talkin my company but i have several different ibanezes and the s prestige isnt the kind of sound i want exactly however i completely agree with u on that last...wat if i were to get an esp there any good esp's out that have that warm tone
@MrTheCircle Yeh , actually most ppl would be surprised ESP's arent just good for metal , their extremely versatile , but for your style id Suggest an Eclipse with Seymour Duncans.(ESP or Ltd)
@MrTheCircle I dunno , their both pretty much the same thing just Esp uses Gotoh tuners i think and Ltd uses ESP tuners , But i dont rly care since ESP tuners are fucking amazing , ive had my Ltd MH350NT for 3 months and ive only rly tuned it 3 times ! (not counting the low E since i always go from Standard E to Drop D) , and the Ltd 's come with Floyd rose 1000 bridges , and ESP are Floyd Rose original , but i dont use tremolo's so For me their the same
Dude...play it clean Pretty much all guitars sound the same heavy.

If I'm going to spend $4,000, I think I'd rather have a PRS Custom 24 - Made in the USA!

Wackjackso 1 year ago
@Wackjackso they didnt just copy the sg the body is more pointed at the edges it sounds completely different and the frets feel so much better
