I really wished that they would have kept their promise on the first site plan, that looked very pedeestrian friendly and That really stinks that only lowes, walmart, gamestop, ABC liquor, LG NAils, and us cellular is there... Where are all the restaurants and shops at?

not really. It isnt like any other shopping center in the asheville area. It will be more like lets see... Barefoot landing or broadway at the beach in myrtle beach.

you can say what you want, but I think its going to be more better than any other shopping center east of knoxville and west of charlotte, you hate progress, I like it. If you hate it, then find a way to build a time machine and transport your sorry butt back to the 17th century.

Traffic is going to be hades when this thing opens! I think it's cool but I'm going to miss go o'le Weaver Vegas being small! If I wanted to live in that kind of environment I would move to Asheville!

Some of what you say I can relate however it appears that you moved here just a few years ago.

The local people for the most part does want this project, they need jobs.

I would rather drive to 25/70 & shop than go to Asheville - the city council in Ashville has mad a fool of their citizens.

I've lived here my whole life up until now because I'm in college! Which is 19 years! My name is Miles! I've been around busy traffic for months now and I hate it! Greensboro is horrible for traffic not to mention the roads are awful! Don't get me wrong it will be cool!

Now I can understand the issue with the mad traffic in Greensboro from what we have in Weaverville.

Im sure you will be glad to reurn to Weaverville, maybe when you get back we will have a nice place to have dinks with our dinner instead of driving to Asheville.

I agree with you, but this flashman who you are commenting to, is my bud miles rice who is in college in I believe greensboro. He just dont want weaverville to be swamped with traffic, but I am with you soundoffbuncombe, I will love what is coming to weaverville. Once it opens, traffic will become quite a problem, but after a while it WILL slacken off.
