  • 1:08 THE CAKE IS A LIE!

  • @geurgeury 6mth ago: In one way, but Windows should include all of the major 5 including IE.

  • I thought that features mean something useful like Opera has

insert personal, insert note, edit tool bar, speed dial, quick access to hide markers, Open closed tabs on (tab)bar (ex title bar), And maybe adding some things like: One click small player or window (to open a player in a small window for tv streaming of course with option to "keep always on top" and no borders)

Chrome developers need to relax only think they think is work, work, work.

    Man I need a job...

  • 0:25 now you're thinking with portals!

  • Safe browsing.

  • The cake is a lie!

  • umm can u fix the problem to can play roblox with google chrome ? >:D

  • Incognito mode=porn mode

  • The only way I would use Google Chrome (Or any other google product) is if they gave me the damn tnt stick back. They are becoming another corporation that controls the world. <,<

  • You know that cake is still dangerous, it has a flaming candle...

  • TEXTp is cool!

  • @hillsong1994 Are you trying to be sarcastic?

Obviously you don't bookmark stuff, you don't understand incognito mode, and you spelled quite wrong, idiot.

  • lol I like this one it's funny....yet simple

  • You forgot relatively good customization!

  • like the old jewish dude

  • amazing ad!!

  • this is such a good commercial!!!!!!!

  • Incognito part made me laugh.

  • Yeah, and to me too! That's practically the funniest part of this video! LOL!

  • they should but this on national TV

  • This is the best Google Chrome advert, not the "Google Chrome, Japan"!

  • JoCognito Mode no in... :D - Good video. °|~JoCognito

  • Hi, What is that song ? . ^^.

  • oooo

  • Anyone know the font used in the video? It looks similar to Helvetica bold but the 'g' is double-storey and helvetica's is single.

  • Not everything has to be perfect and retouched.

    We're all human.

  • Yes of course. I am / was just being a complete and utter ham =@ )

Actually upon a second viewing it didn't seem so glaring at all. Weird.

  • I love this! Favorite parts: the "safe browsing" white gloved hands and "larger viewing area" zoom out. Great humor from Open—can't say I'm surprised, but certainly pleased.

  • fantastic...see my google video too!

  • i wish that was able to run on Mac OS X

  • Me too!

  • I don't know what Google Chrome is but it has some pretty funny advertising

  • a web browser

  • Instant bookmarking made me LOL.

  • best promotion from Chrome!

  • hee hee

    great and true video

  • i want cooliris for chrome dude!

  • and specially google chorme will works on addons like firefox $ then chrome will best browser in earth.

  • i think in future chrome rules!

  • The Chrome Shorts give my brain a creative burst of stimuli!

  • Chrome is the best browser ever. Not only is it streamlined and well managed, it gets updated CONSTANTLY. When was the last update for Opera 10 Alpha? Certainly not 5 days ago. Chrome gets updates about every 15 days or so and with each one the browser is improved! CHROME ALL THE WAY!

  • It only gets updated constantly because there's so much that needs changing, fixing or tweaking. The older something is, the more stable it gets and the less changes are needed.

When's the last time you saw an update for the hammer?

  • Comment removed

  • One of the Best Ad.

  • Best commercial yet... and Chrome is awsome

  • sorry firefox burns them all!!

  • Chrome is a suped-up Safari browser.

  • Love it so funny!

  • Chrome is remarkable. I love it. Google needs it's own operating system, i'd use it.

  • Im absolutely agree with you, some years before the problem was with the compatibility with some programs, but then Windows for Mac came out, so it was perfect, you can do whatever, and if Windows freezed you just close it, I just hope that they develop the tablet or touch netbook thingysoon.

  • hahahaha loved it!

  • Lol, nice! I lol'd hard at this one! Very nice vid.

Thank you, Google, for making the Internet a better place. :)

*I would have posted from Chrome, but I'm running 64-bit Linux. Can I please have a version of the browser for my platform? I tried building it myself not too long ago, but I fail at building applications from source. :(

  • i'm totally agree with tinapaz. i mean, she understood exactly in the same way i did it. god, she must be my soulmate. Tinapaz, i would like to know you

  • The idea was great...simple and cool!

  • 0:38 is so fucking creepy

  • 0:10 lol @ super fast bookmarks

  • An engaging and flattering short for Google Chrome by the genius of OPEN and Scott Stowell. The analog "ad hoc" nature of the features humanizes even the coldest of subject matter — in this case a browser. Another home run for OPEN.

  • yeah too bad safari 4 already has all of these features . . oops looks like apple got there first again

  • apple fuckin sucks

  • Uh...huh?

  • chrome is almost a year old now.... apple fanboys fail again...

  • Actually, safari doesn't have a crash control in that if one site crashes, the others dont.

Also, in the startup, your favorite pages aren't shown.

Another thing is that the memory running the site is replaced back to the browser when the tab is closed.

  • Sorry what? Crash? That word doesn't exist in my vocabulary. . . . ahhh, I love getting the pc guys all pissy. All it takes is one little apple plug and then my inbox starts filling up with comments on how much I suck because I'm a Mac user. . . . 13 years strong and no meltdowns yet . . . .

  • Same here, 10 years of continuous PC usage, no "crashes" EVER. And I'm sure I was 300% more productive :)

  • I'm a mac user...

Sometimes the webpages are not constructed well so that they just don't work.

Great job attacking a fellow mac user

  • Dear Roguride, PC= Personal Computer.

    You have one, you know.

But, for the sake of this argument/explanation/total schooling of your arguement and ego, PCs aren't bound to their Operating system. Theoretically, I can get MacOS X to work on a PC. This has already been done.

Come back when you have something that really makes us PC users "pissy".

  • I dont have to argue to make you pissy...your PC will do that for you :)

  • You can set it so that in start up your favorite pages show. It's called a home page. Thing of the future.

  • 0:25 Awesome

  • The ad was cool, just needs abit more touchup here and there. Love the incognito mode and yay for instant book marking!

  • best ad ive seen in ages

  • why does everyone think "borrowing" Sesame Street and Electric Company narrative motifs is INNOVATIVE...

that was low budget cleverness...like 35 years ago.

    yawn.

  • Great commercial! I love Google ads, they're not invasive and they just get to you.

  • And Opera is slow as heck in comparision. How is firefox "clumsy"? It rarely crashes, can view near all websites (because most people worry about IE and Firefox, not Opera) and it has much more support. Not to mention it's just easier to use. FIREFOX FOR LIFE!!!

  • hey im writing to you on firefox right now!!

  • I know what you mean. I'm a Firefox guy myself... and stayin' that way.

  • Ditto.

  • Best Ad for a web browser but ..

Mozilla Firefox + Adblock Plus = Win Win over all other web browsers :]

  • hahahahha Google are seriously the best advertisers on the planet. They know how to get to their audience.

  • Cool ad but Chrome needs more features than those already in other browser, like IE8 (my default browser) and Firefox (the king of addons and extensions).

  • :) some of this made me lol and some of it was a very innovative way of explaining some of the features in Chrome

  • larger viewing area part was awesome :-D

  • this is the best ad of the new google chrome :D...excellent job....

  • brilliant!

  • greasemonkey is still really hokey, and it's had YEARS to work out kinks.

  • greasemonkey's already been implemented in chrome, guys. That already opens up many doors for customization.

  • Really, really like this one. But as Syntox mentioned, addons is still the shit!

  • Till I can customize with all kinds of funky homebrew plugins, it's Firefox allllllllllll the way...sorry, Googs.

  • Punny, but it doesn't help me understand what phrases like "one box for everything" and "application shortcuts" mean with respect to the browser.

  • Application shortcuts are like shortcuts on your desktop for web apps you need to access often, like real offline apps.

And while homebrew extensions are nice, sometimes i just need speed. And the main reason i use Chromium more often than Firefox is the Google search and autocompletion in the address bar. No plugins in firefox combines the two boxes

I think that is what "one box for everything" means.
