They won't let you bring bags in line/leave them on the side (for most coasters). There are lockers that cost $1 per use near the entrances to several rides.

I was there that day! Media day was in the morning and the ride opened to the public in the afternoon. They held both on the same day because there was already a huge delay in opening the ride. It was well worth the wait and lived up to all the anticipation. Such a gem! Still have that t-shirt too!

I wouldn't doubt it, I waited for 3 hours in Universal Studios Islands of Adventure for The Hulk and that ride comes nowhere close to being as good as Kingda Ka... of course I'm sure the majority of the people down in Universal have never seen or heard of Kingda Ka...

This is my favorite roller coaster of all time. I just went on yesterday, and that first airtime drop feels like you are falling out a building. The roller coaster goes so fast that the force of the air pushes your head down at one point.

Hahaha, that happened to me.

I forget if it was after the second or third drop, but after one of them there are beams above the track, and I was holding my hands up but I took them down because I thought they might hit the beams, and when I did that the force of me taking my arms down and the speed of the coaster made me duck.

i went on this yesterday...omg...the first drop is CRAZZYYYY.!!.....this coasterr is very fast and very long...the end part of it is crazyy....you go left, right,left,right,left,right...­...u have to find out for urself.....and behind this ride is the tallest coaster in the world ..... I usually don't do wooden coasters but this one was awesome. Its not your old fashioned coaster with the klink, klink, klink as you go up. It goes up fairly quickly which adds to the thrill. You are never really ready for the first drop, and then..voom..down you go lol. Its pretty tall too.

i was just on el toro aug 23 2008 and was so depressed first time in 3 years i have been there and some idiot didnt secure his articles and caused it to be shut down his shirt flew back and got trapped between the wheel on coaster and the track itself idiots!!! while entering the ride money and glasses fell people secure your articles lol for your safety and others as well

I went to SFGA on the 29th. we were getting ready to leave and this was gonna be the last ride. Man I hate flash pass so much. We could've gotten on, but the moron attendant only let 5 people from the regular line go, so that some of the flash pass people could go on, then he stops the line for 20 minutes, just in time for the ride to get stuck on the lifthill. It started up 10 minutes later, and then the attendant let us go. after we were next to get on the ride, we had to go. stupid flash pass

Sounds like you rode towards the back. If you did, then what were you expecting from a WOODEN roller coaster. I've never ridden El Toro and I hope to do so sometime next year but I do know that the closer you are to the rear, the rougher the ride is so if you don't want a rough ride, then sit near the front.
