First off, Favre had the Jets at 8-3 and, what it seemed, a playoff berth but nope. Favre choked once again and threw 9 picks in the last 5 games which knocked them right out of the playoffs and put the Dolphins in. and Rodgers was not the problem last year, it was the poor defense as well as big injuries but mainly it was all bad luck.

You are an idiot. A-Rod, Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods, & Brett Favre all were/are all divas and all worth it. You should focus you attention on the management and coaching which decided to let their emotions and egos guide their decision to dismiss one of the top three quarterbacks currently in the league. If Thompson and his puppet McCarthy's decision still seems rational to you, may god help you and any children you may spawn.

Lame video as are other like videos. IMO the media made way, way too much of a difficult situation causing all the furor, not Brett. Don't think for one moment that a lot of behind the scenes didn't fo down that we will never know about that lead up to Brett's infamous retirement speech and ultimate desire to return. Brett is a great person on & off the field and does not deserver this type of ridicule.

Ted Thompson, Mike Murphy, and Mike McCarthy pressured Brett to retire. They did it to try and make their own "winning era"! Brett HAS a reason to have a huge ego. They don't and never will! Brett doesn't deserve their dirty dealings.

Personally, I got sick of Brett's waffling over the years and thought one day soon they'd put him in an Eggo commercial. It's been a great 16 years and sorry to see Mid Life Crisis strike at this point. But, really. When Reggie White went to Carolina, noone today really cares now do they?

Last year was a great Packers season. We were 3 points away from the Super Bowl. If the Pack had welcomed Brett back we would have gotten over the hump. Nothing would have been better than to watch Brett go out on top like John Ellway. Fire Ted Thompson!

Ok quite honestly you guys took this way too far. True Packer fans wouldn't burn all of his stuff, they would look back on his time in the NFL and all of the good stuff he did. I don't find this funny at all. First of all you burned a fortune. That will all be worth lots of money someday. Secondly, he's a future hall of famer, not some one hit wonder college rookie.
