It is kind of sad (for americans, though they do think about it too often) that most of their discoverys, inventions was made by emigrants from Europe (providing that u call both Brits and Native americans - americans).
IMHO USA is such a divided culturally & nationally country that being proud of being american is like being proud of living on Earth.

I can't understand the reason why people in africa get the AIDS/HIV vaccination, I do not mean to sound like heartless but its not helping them at all, they are making more babies and in fact more people are dying from hunger. Common family in Europe has 1-2 children, while in Africa ... How can anyone help them if they are going to overpopulate us? Instead of giving them made things they should get education and culture to evolve

@Talliesyn That's one of the things that annoys me about campaigns to stop child deaths through disease in third world countries, it basically is natural selection, in the middle ages people in what are now the richest countries of the world had tons of kids, and lots of them died young. If that doesn't happen population goes out of control, saving more lives than the economy (if not the planet!) can sustain is not smart >.> All things considering, there already are too many humans...

And why we should help them after the wars they cause, its like giving them supplies for the next one to be organised. If they want help they should give europe/asia/namerica right to overthrow their governments. But this would lead to further conflicts. Not long ago they fought for their independence. Now when they have freedom they cannot deal with it and start civil wars.

They are donating, but the thing is, they have huge problems right now with the lower class citizens. You have to remember that they have more than 1 billion more citizens than USA have. And also, they are going at it in a long time perspective, they build up their infrastructure with the money they have so in the future they can solve problems.

@TheMommyTrishaShow See, I agree with that to. While we should help other countries and help our country with our problems, we should start with making sure WE don't end up on the streets. I'm not saying you should't donate ANYTHING, but really just donate if you have extra money left. We are running LOW on money because of our generosity. You don't see China or nothing donating to anyone else but us. And the only reason that is, is cause we buy their poisonis products.

And if you don't, well that's your problem for wasting your money on a computer instead of food and clothing. Cause their are kids out there, not just in Africa, who don't even have shelter. and if we raised taxes for the whole country to 100% then we wouldnt even raise enough of upwards of 1 billion which isnt even close, so in the long run noone would be able to buy anything and we would have to pay those taxes to help pay off our own dept over the next 50 years or so.

I respect you trying to raise knowledge about tragedies that are affecting the world....but we as a nation try to act as the parents of all these countries or children in a nutshell and giving them an allowance. This is a good cause I admit but we spend how much money on every tree and animal or human killed in the world and we will end ourselves. I love the vids keep making them, but people try to support other countries when were 15 trillion in debt.....which basically means were fucked.
