  • A hummer is what ur mom gave me!

  • Really close one there! If you can move the vent closer to one end, as close as you can to the clay plug is best. That should get you the hum, but if it doesn't just add 20%-50% whistle to the BP before you ram it in.

  • That's not really a hummer. A hummer should make a humming noise hence the name hummer.

I would call it a spinner.

    But still it's nice ;)

  • if you'd listen you can hear a bit of a hum, nice try at the hummer mate, better than mine anyway, haha *****

  • @TruBluPyro Agreed, I heard it to. Maybe it's only cause of a sound problem or a not so good acoustic.

  • good job man...

where can i find clay plugs?

    or if that's not available,,,

what material can i use to block the two ends?

  • you can't find clay plugs.

Buy bennenite(clumping) cat litter and just grind it up to the desired consistency and then use that.

  • YUP! That's what I use!

  • lol were can i find clay plus u need bentonite clay u put it in the tube and ram it down

  • Epoxy putty works better than bentonite, but its more expensive. You can get it from any hardware store.

  • lol... i used cement on my fountain... sad though... it just burst into flames.... i used sparkler dust for the composition and i mixed it with mini dragon eggs...

  • great hummer, it's a simple step to progress to a stinger from there, you should try it out.

    Was standard 75/15/10 BP used?

  • Yep, the formula was standard, but this one was from a contaimned batch. Unfortunaltely, in the vid u can't see silver sparks given off by the aluminium. Thanks for rating!

I'll try to progress to stingers soon. ( no tools available but I'll try )

  • I could tell there was Al in it in the vid. You should check out my page for a stinger instructional if you're interested. It just uses dowels a drill and a hammer. not to much tooling there.
