In the beginning you're voice is in a different key than your guitar is which I understand because it's hard for men to sing that high in key. The style in your voice is great but some of your singing isn't completely in tune. It's very hard to sing and play in this weird key so I understand, Alice in Chains doesn't make it easy! Overall though it sounds really good, I'm not saying you're out of tune the whole time. It's just when you get to certain words. Most of it is really well done.

Seems like every time I see an AIC cover, the singer is trying his best to sound like Layne. Don't do that. What made Layne sound so great WAS his uniqueness. You should do the same. Add YOUR uniqueness. Dont try to copy a legendary singer. Become one yourself.

I had to agree about the screams, you have a few slips here and there...maybe it's a matter of practice. I've the same problem in my own covers (mainly because I've no singing technique but my ears) I think that your voice in the verses sounds great! mainly because that might be a range of voice more natural to you. Keep on practicing or just try like i do to...fit the hard parts or the higer ones to your range of voice. I think that you would reach that notes with practice (Y)
