@swingbeeper most police arent that bad, theyre just run by a load of c*nts and not particularly well trained in what they can/cant do legally, so they assume authority in many situations, we need to befriend the police now more than ever we want them on our side not the side of the rich bankers/government/bureaucrats and law makers
they should be spending their time doing something more productive, like arresting blair for war crimes or finding murderers and tax evaders etc... though
seems like a peacefull protest to me, i wonder during that 7mins 15 seconds vid how many crimes were unattended by police while these to seemed to waste time here.
I'll resect the MET when they put the two murderers of jean charles de meneses in prison and the murderer of the paper seller who was on his way home during the G20 in london

I am a Canadian woman, with English parents-something my mother taught me to be proud of.
I don't remember her teaching me to be stand for the rights of idiots suggesting police violence against peaceful people OUTSIDE of the law, and yet I stand 4 freedom of speech for all.
The MET were very well behaved on this occassion. I think the officers present should be applauded for their courage to stay within the law-I admire them for that-you wish harm upon me-go figure.

Why are so many people in this country content with the fact that we are being governed by a non elected leader who has taken away our democratic right to vote, because he wants to put into action his plans for this country? I was searched, slammed, and wrongfully imprisoned for 72 hours so they could "establish my identity". I had me Picture ID card on me and I was under the assumption that a STATE issued Picture ID card was enough but I guess I was wrong.
Bobbies/Cop are megalomaniacs who have little dick syndrome so the feel a need to harass. They feel that by harassing others they look like bad asses. They often abuse their authority. five days ago I was walking down Manchester Blvd. and was stopped by a pork chop just for being punk i guess.
What a complete waste of time. These two police are a good reason to cut back the police budget.

This is why our society is in the mess its in. Respect for the Police would be nice. These two acted very well considering the blatent provocation.
