I can't imagine it being daylight at midnight. I live in Georgia and it's dark as hell right now. Coincidentally, I can't imagine it being dark all of the time either. That would suck even worse.
As for midday winter, I don't seem to have any video, but I have one picture of the sunset at just before 2pm on December 14, 2008. It's linked in the description as YouTube apparently didn't like linking in comments.
Unfortunately I don't live there any more so I can't take one, even this upcoming winter.
What town in Alaska is this? I want to see the midnight sun for myself someday...probably won't happen, but I can dream. Heck, I wouldn't even mind going up by the Canadian border at summer solstice and seeing if I can see midnight twilight - they say you can.
