the only problem with this is the short blades give almost no stability, they should put plastic runners (made of the stuff they use to make street pucks slide) wich would be 6 inches long on the front on rear of every skate.

that way they could go faster, jump higher, and most likely crash harder!

@ccowap15 Nah, changing the skates would imply training with them, those are ice hockey skates and those are ice hockey players. There not trained for crashed ice. It's not an internationnal sport yet. But give it some time and there will be courses like this built around the world. Atheletes trained for the sport and equipement made for it. Meanwhile lets keep it on the basics. We're assisting to a new begining.
