None of them could buddy for the simple reason football in that era was ONLY entertainment. Had 0 competition and profit for big clubs etc, comparing to modern era. Late 70's present.

Don't look only footage, just take a look at the fans. Grannies, grandpas, bimbo chicks, gentlemen wearing their suit etc etc. They went in the stadium to watch "theatre" or something, they had 0 FANATISM inside them and their knowledge abt football backthen was LIMITED.

In fact Pele had to play the rest of the game limping because there were no substitutions at that time in the world cup. Also no other player, even in our time, has the vision or imagination to do a dummy in front of a goal keeper. Pele did it in the world cup. PELE IS THE BEST!!!!

When you dribble the way he does, you don't just go up to him and attempt a tackle. You cannot compare Messi with Pele because it's different times. Messi wouldn't have succeed in Pele's times and Pele would have score less than 200 goals in Messi's times. In addtion, don't forget that Pele played with great players around him such as Garrincha, Rivelino, Didi etc.
