  • Edward Norton, Louis CK and Gervais, all in one.

  • Look at Louis C.K. all chubby! Can hardly recognize him.

  • "Oh I'm gonna think about this later" LMAO!

  • If that was Derek Vineyard, he would be REALLY glad that it wasn't a couple of black guys...

  • THE BEST Edward Norton Cameo EVER! Love it <3

  • 66600 Viewer, oh god ok then, so I just watched 66599 times

  • brillaint cameo from Norton

  • @U5ERNAMEINVALID

    Cool story, bro.

  • Louie: "I don't want to go to jail"

Ricky: "He doesn't want to go to jail"

Edward: "Have you been drinking and operating this motor vehicle?"

    Louie: "Yeah, ALOT"

Edward: "Well then, you're probably going to jail"

    xD Favorite part.

  • This movie looks horrible. Still don't see the appeal in Ricky Gervais. Is it the American market eating it all up as "British humour"?

  • took me a sec to recognize him, but his voice is unmistakable. XD love Edward Norton.

  • hahaahhahahahahahaahahahha

  • I love Ricky's subtle reactions: "...sexually? Ah ... that ..." glance at the ground. ^_^

  • I usually love Ricky's work but I honestly thought The Invention of Lying was mediocre

  • lol i thought this was the funniest scene in this

  • HOLY SHIT! YOU KNOW WHAT'S MORE IMPRESSIVE THAN ED NORTON? IT'S FUCKING LOUIE C.K. WITHOUT A FUCKING GOATEE AND MUSTACHE! And you know what's the point of the breathaliezier if know one lies? Why is the cop even a cop with all those dirty habits, wouldn't he flunk out in an interview. And why is the drunk guy driving in the first place? Logically it should have been the sober Ricky Gervais.

  • @brandonlamchops The way I see it, the cop has that cocaine habit, because the war on drugs never started, because no one is capable of lying. And the point of a breathalyzer is to determine the exact amout of alcohol in his system, so the cop can put it on his record.

  • @brandonlamchops And as for the drunk guy driving... we're pretty much on the same page there

  • Haha, doesn't he sound like Darren from WKUK?

  • Dat spam.

  • his face when he says he's not drunk is great, I love Norton

  • Comment removed

  • Best. Mustache. Ever!

  • I didn't realize it was Edward Norton when I watched this first!

  • I also love Phillip Seymour Hoffman i this: "Im black". " I always wanted a black friend" LMAO

  • HEY ITS LOUIS CK!

  • Lol :D funny xD

    Edward Norton.... Yummi :p

  • Oh please, all of you can shut up with your religious crap. Just enjoy the fact that Edward Norton is awesome and has a great mustache in this video.

  • @amellyalia Die in a fire, this movie isn't new.

  • @khatrisuman5 This isn't inception you fucktard, wrong movie. Die in a fire.

  • its the adrenaline

    ...well, actually it arouses me

    :(

  • so a feeling of self worth and... :)

    yeaah..

  • Louis C.K. looks weird without his goatee.

  • *666natas999*

  • someone please tell me there is a deleted scene where Lois CK fellates the breathalyzer! Real sloppy like a veteran pornstar!

  • i didn't recognize him at all when i watched this! must be the moustache.

  • edward norton is the best....

  • I haven't seen the film, but I've seen a couple of clips and from what I understand about the logic of the film then surely Ed Norton would have stopped when ricky said "you don't have to do that" he would have been like "oh I dont have to do that? okay sure." unless of course people can still make mistakes in this world because if people in that world can make mistakes then they could have just assumed that ricky was mistaken about religion and death, or had a mental problem.

  • @WubwubDubstep

He may not HAVE to, but he WANTS to. He said so himself: It arouses him.

  • "Actually, it arouses me."

    Niiice.

  • Lmfao

  • &im going to throw up

&your not going to throw up

    & oh ok

  • 1:56

These aren't the Droids your looking for

    Lol

  • this movie got a 100 times better when ed norton randomly showed up.. one of my favorite scenes

  • 1:56 Jedi's technique...

  • What made this movie great, was the fact that it actually disected humanity on a psychological and sociological level, and sarcastically questioned as well as mocked how shallow MANY people really are. Just look around you at how many women are hell bent on giving the ass hole chance after chance to hand grenade their lives and end up in a bar in their 50's crying "all men are A Holes!" while they simultaneously look for reasons to dump nice guys that are slightly less attractive...haha dumb.

  • @CMink7777 i know it's crazy. out of all the girl's i've dated, the one that like me the most, like obsessively so, was the one i treated the worst. i don't fucking get it and now that i'm a much nicer guy these days, i remain single. the world is indeed a beautiful and crazy place.

  • @jstb0b Women are all nuts! Their stupidity and poor choices aren"t a freak occurance, but rather systematic and universal. If evolution and wanting whats primal makes them go for the best possible match, why do they always chose the wrong ones and regret it later? It suggests that the evolutionary process if anything is going backwards. They mistake arrogance for confidence and whoever sells the best bs (I mean real bs) wins...I'd rather not play their fucking dumb as games.

  • @CMink7777 lol yeah, our culture surely is fucking up the natural order of things. it's why women make themselves throw up and get sick on laxatives; all in the name of 'beauty.' and if smoking weed is so bad for you, why do they let women get face lifts? i mean have you seen what they do in order to make their face look like they're permanently sucking on a lemon? it's fuckin nuts buddy. yeah, i don't want to play their games, but the only alternative is to get rich. lol sad

  • @CMink7777 You do realize not all women can be covered in a generalization like that. The thing I tell to women when they say " All men are stupid, horny morons. ".

Also I encourage you to question the motives behind your assumptions. I'm not trying to be mean, I just suggest you remember to question yourself as well. It sounds like someone really hurt you. Women are around 90% fucking stupid, I agree; but the %10 remaining don't deserve to to be labeled for the bad behavior of their gender.

  • @CloverCam Yeah I do. 10% can't be covered in that canvas. For that small subculture, I have the utmost respect. The motives behind my assumptions? I have no motives. My opinion is the result of life. Standing back and watching human beings and the patterns they live on. Watching what makes them tick and seeing how they get their kicks from a sociological stance. It's universal and animalistic. It shouldn't be sugar coated.

  • @CloverCam Here's an example: Let's say the main character in this movie was really smart and educated in business and the guy who he worked with, that fought with him over the girl was uneducated and not nearly as good at what he did. Both of these men apply for the CEO position. Who does the world want to win? The skinny choch bag. Humans find it detestable that anyone who falls outside their personal definition of "mainstream" should be successful. They will try to prevent it-even as a group.

  • @CloverCam We all subconsciously make opinions of people in our minds. Once we make an opinion, we like to check up on them. We have it all figured in our minds. Then, when we find someone strays from the path and reaches a new level of success we are bothered to our core. We want to see the guy that looks the part get the part. Thats why Obama is president. 75% of people believe everything you say if you good and it sounds good regardless of the words being said.

  • just watch the movie and think. We may not say all of the dialog that's presented, but I'll bet we all think that that is what the other guy is thinking and in this thought lies the truth. The only ones we allow to say the truth are comedians. Everyone else had better lie in almost everything that they say. We prefer it that way. We have freedom of speech but not immunity from telling the truth. The dull and ignorant will see the danger in the truth and lynch you for it.

  • 2:06 died laughing

  • Who's the driver? Is that Louie CK?

  • keep clicking on 1:18

  • how can a corrupt officer exist in this movie?

  • @jomarsamu wow never thought of that so true

  • 'You're gonna wanna blow, not suck dick.'

  • @wardy2294

it's not suck dick, it's "suck there"

  • @Alfosian Yeah i know, it just sounded a bit like that.

  • to those who commented on the cocaine habit bit.....

IT'S A FRICKIN MOVIE...it was funny, just go with it

  • your sooo gay

  • EdWARD nORTON IS also funny?! aweomse. =]

  • Holy crap, I had no idea that was edward norton when i saw this yesterday.

  • His seatbelt was on...Ed Norton is strong.

  • @cousinbebop It looked like one of the cars where the seatbelt moves forward when the door opens. Lap belt would probably still be on though...

  • @cousinbebop With this type of car, the seatbelt automatically comes off when you open the door. You can even see that in the scene! So it has nothing to do with strength, pal.. :)

  • @cousinbebop you can see the motorized seatbelt move went Norton opens the door.

  • @cousinbebop Someone's never seen an automatic seatbelt.

  • oa-...Ive made a terrible mistake!

  • In order to keep the realism Edward Norton when through the police academy and earned his police badge. After, he would go out with the rest of the local law enforcement to the bar to hang out and become one of them. This is why his role was so convincing. (Today he is in the "Un-academy" in order to get his integrity back)

  • His fuken mustasch mkes me siick xD

  • Liar liar was the same. Most of what jim carrey says is without prompting. He just says it. I hated liar liar too.

  • this scene doesnt make sense. If you can't lie then the policeman can't ask for a bribe. It's a form of deceit. I was very dissapointed with this film. I love ricky gervais but only laughed twice I think. It's like he's done it to fit as many of his famous mates in as possable.

  • @neilgodfreyy2k doing something wrong doesn't constitute a lie. The actual plot hole within this film is that just because you can't lie doesn't mean you MUST spew every single truth you're thinking. Like when Jennifer Garner says 'Ohh I've just been masturbating'.

  • @TroutMaskReplicaa I love your username.

  • louis ck looks so different in this

  • @DefLeppardRulez

    It's the missing goatee

  • reference to Derek Vineyard

  • Well im relieved your not a couple of black guys....classic.

  • I love Edward Norton. I must have blacked out or something when watching this movie because I realised I haven't watched a number of scenes like this one. Edward Norton is sexy even as a cop who is aroused when arresting a drunk driver.

  • haha xD!

  • hey does anybody know the song from the scene where mark is doing good things for people?

  • I would be like OH OH yeah Edward body search me baby!

  • haha i love this movie!! "sir hes not drunk" lol

  • I like how not finishing a sentence is sometimes funnier than finishing. Gervais after he asks"sexually?"

  • nice moustache!! ha! Edward Norton is so hot and such an amazing actor thats it's a shame he hasn't won an oscar coz he should have one for all the movies he's done!

  • @JeansaysrawrTotalmente de acuerdo, lo tiene muy merecido.

  • "actually it arouses me" haha!

  • YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH! BITCH!

  • My God its ....Louie!!!!

  • norton beating louis=classic

  • lol i thought that was him! XD

  • i knew that was him

  • lmao.....amazing

  • Pile of shit movie. Gervais was so up himself he couldnt see this black hole in his plot

  • @armbar i await yours whens it out

  • I Looooooove you Edward Norton

  • I sooo love Edward Norton!

  • Why are there police?

  • @nickeax Because people still commit crimes, they just don't lie about it if you ask them. In fact in the movie didn't Ricky Gervias's charactor's Father go to jail for trying to rob someone?

  • Is that Massachusetts? I'm from there and it looks like an old mill town and Norton has a Boston accent...

  • "He's not drunk"

Norton's O_O look was priceless LOL

  • As soon as I heard his voice, I knew who it was xD

  • It's weird how when he says his friend wasn't drunk, the cop automatically believed he was right. I mean honest people can make mistakes, and he used a breathalizer which would know more than a person.

  • @osamabad this is the point of the movie...its a world where no one can lie.....and rickey gervais finds that he's the only one in the world that can lie. so any lie he says, anyone believes him....

  • @Whitewatermadness

The point is, he may not be lying, but he can still be wrong. It's weird how the cop didn't even consider that he may have made a mistake. It's a world where people are honest, not a world where they don't make mistakes.

  • Edward Norton owns every role he plays, big or small. On another note, this scene presents somewhat of a plot hole: If he has a cocaine habit, why hasn't he been fired?

  • @osamabad i think that in the world where everyone tells the truth, the rules are a bit different. maybe not to the extinct where drugs would be legal, but think about all the politicians, celebrities, all of them are normal people and all of them had done some things they don't speak of in public, such as smoking weed or even take drugs.now in the world where everyone speaks of those things and admits them,if the rules were as strict as they are, they'd have to fire almost everyone

  • @SkylarPro

First of all, the word is "extent", not "extinct". Second of all, if it were something like smoking weed, it wouldn't be a big deal, but I think cocaine is enough of a reason to fire someone, especially if that person is a police officer.

  • @osamabad: well sorry, english is not my native tongue, i wrote one letter wrong, i wonder how you would cope with my language...

i was just speculating about what could be a reason for this, you don't have to be so aggressive.

he even admitted to taking money from drivers, i bet he wouldn't be the only one to do it, and there would be hundreds of famous people admitting to various addictions and mistakes, so obviously, moral standards would have to be slightly different than ours

  • @SkylarPro

If their moral standards were low enough that they allowed cops to use cocaine, the whole system would fall apart. Nobody would follow the rules and there would be no law.

  • @SkylarPro

Btw, I speak 2 languages too. I can also sort of speak a dialect in my home country. So, no bitching about how it's not your native language.

  • @osamabad oh sorry, before you pick up on this - those were two letters that i got wrong. and yes, i realize it's a whole different word.

  • @osamabad Just because they have to tell the truth, doesn't mean he has to let it out without being asked.

We can only assume that no one has brought it up.

  • @TheSilverAce

It seems in this reality that everyone brings everything up and doesn't hold anything back.

  • @osamabad I'm not dissagreeing with you but keep in mind most cops probably have cocaine habbit

  • @joeydrawz

Yes, but they can lie in our reality. Here they can't. That's the difference.

  • @osamabad Maybe here they don't want to look like hypocrites

  • @joeydrawz

That doesn't even make sense. Why would that keep him from getting fired? An honest drug user is just as guilty as a dishonest drug user.

  • @osamabad Not lying doesn't mean you have to announce everything you do.

  • @nickeax

In this reality it does. Notice how people tell each other everything and hold nothing back.

  • @osamabad because nobody has asked him?

  • @cedric182

Nobody has to ask them. In this world, everyone says everything. Didn't you notice that?

  • @osamabad Because cops look out for each other.

  • @TheFantasticFordy

They look out for each other in our reality, because you can hide things. In their reality, you don't have that luxury.

  • @osamabad suspension of disbelief

  • @osamabad I thought the same thing as you that people could still be mistaken. You might think someone is sober who is not. Regarding the coke thing I guess if everyone told the truth it would have to be legal or or you would have 20 million people in jail. But it is just a movie anyway. Some of the things you see in real world Hollywood movies are incredibly stupid. Especially action movies. Watch the Core or Armageddon every single thing that happens in those movies is wrong.

  • @osamabad hasnt been caught yet?

  • @SkaetrPunk777

    What are you talking about?

  • @osamabad his crack addiction

  • @osamabad no one asked him lol

    but it's a stupid premise you're right

    but it doesn't matter cos

all the hollywood celebrities suck ricky's COCK

    and THAT'S the truth

    : D

  • @osamabad clearly there are 1000s of loopholes in this movie, you just cant watch it with that mind set

  • @osamabad You imply that they have asked him!

  • @Gyoung1991

In case you didn't notice, they openly say the truth in this movie, even without being asked.

  • @osamabad probably because nobody asked would be my first guess

  • @FlavorOfL1fe

Yeah, but they don't have to. Everyone in their world tells the truth without being asked.

  • @osamabad cuz he's a cop lots of cops do

  • @CloverCam

What are you talking about? What mansion?

  • Comment removed

  • @CloverCam

Not all of it. What does a mansion have to do with what I said?

  • Comment removed

  • @CloverCam

Yeah, but you can argue that people wouldn't want a mansion if the price is their own lives.

We're not talking about what people would've done in 500 AD. We're talking about the present time. Why does everybody look for every opportunity to bash christians?

  • @CloverCam

You say you're not bashing christians, but it's obvious from your last 2 comments that you have an axe to grind with them. How are going over my head when you can't even answer my question? I don't need to see the whole movie to ask the question I asked. My question was based on the theme of the movie, which is a world where everyone says what's on their mind.

  • @CloverCam

Yes, it's about ALL religion, but you sin
