Hi can anyone help me? I have a gateway nv54 and it won't turn on. When I plug it in the charging light comes on but it won't power on. I took it apart and looked at the power button and it seams to be fine. Any help would be great. Thanks

@TJ718alldayx7 your motherboard is wet, and shorted a connector out a bit obvious i know, need to do a complete disassembly, and look for dampspots. its not really a diy fix take it in to a reputable repairer, i would advise
does the output of voltage from the charger cause batter not to charge or it will charge but have chance of damaging the batter if th e voltage is higher than orginal?

@ChrisProdLol your charger? look at the voltage etc, write them down. look on ebay for universal chargers with the same you have got a new charger.
