As much of an arrogant prick that Blackmore could be, after seeing this, I'm convinced he had all those skills that Hendrix wished he had. I reckon Hendrix would have been blown away by this.
@yellingelk: thats true and still hendrix is on first place of every list of "top 100 guitarists" and blackmore somewhere in the 50s... don't trust such lists!
@yellingelk Blackmore got a strat after seeing Hendrix play one. Blackmore knew Hendrix was the far out of any guitarist those days. Blackmore also started burning his guitars and using feedback because of Hendrix. Both are amazing. Both are Gods of the guitar.
@francisco444 From what I know, Blackmore was already playing around with feedback way before he'd have ever heard of Jimi Hendrix... around 1964 or so when he was in the Outlaws, before Screaming Lord Sutch. But yes... he was heavily influenced by Hendrix, although he didn't think Hendrix was much of a player... he was mostly influenced by the "man" Jimi Hendrix.
Incredible band, each member shine trough this gig!

Great performance, but the sound quality is bad. I miss the bass.
