when i listen to this i see a girl, ingered, runing thru a dark ally in the middle of the night crying, bushing past plants looking back every now and then to see a man following her slowly with a knife at this point her friend is dead and the police wont answer her calls. she jumps a fence instead of turning into the streat (where she would have been seen and most likely helped) and finds her self in a dead end

yeah its nin, not a cover. trent reznor just had like a 10-week-period where he decided to make vocalless tracks, and experimental stuff. it all came out on this album

The segment from 0:48-1:19 and a little later keep reminding me of Doom 1 (DOS)... Can't even block that music out. Trent Reznor composed the soundtrack for Quake, but I don't know if he did for the Midi's used in Doom, but that would be his style..
