Americans, stop pronouncing Beta Band wrong. I know that "Beta" in Greek is pronounced "bay-ta" but the band themselves pronounce in "bee-ta." That's the way they wanted it to be pronounced. I'd hate it if I had a band and people kept pronouncing the name wrong.

This scene (Rob putting on "the Beta Band") perfectly captures the pride and confidence that the DJ/music geek types feel when they put something on that they know people will groove to.

"It's good..." "I know." I have probably used that response a hundred times since seeing this movie. One the best inventions of the screenplay--not in the terrific novel.
