Great video. I am very interested in the F5F skyrocket, it is great to see a large scale one fly. I have just finished one at 100" and would like to contact the owner of the one in your video if possible. Do you have a contact e-mail for him. I have a few questions, like CG location etc.
The skyrocket in the video has changed hands again and is owned by someone down in Texas that I am not in contact with. They flew it at Bomber Field outside of Houston this summer (09). I flew it once and it is a very nice flying aircraft. Very docile actually, now I'm not sure how docile it is once an engine is out though...
@junkersc10 it's my understanding that that f5f was to be a carrier-based twin-engined fighter due to its speed and maneuverability as well as its nose-mounted package of 5 (i think, or 6) .50 cal MGs. Its chief drawback to its development was that its engines had a nasty tendency to catch fire on start-up (mostly). It was the plane of comic book hero Blackhawk and his squadron in World War II.
big enough for me to ride on it!

good vid ... the music should not be that loud, because it's difficult to hear the planes.
