This is getting interesting. Let's remember Trotsky was the responsible of the triumph of the revolution. Stalin wasn't a protagonist until he started taking out his political rivals. His theory of revolutions by nations proved to be wrong. And well things didn't change that much for the proletariat during his government. If you want to find where i found the sources of the creation and organization the Red Army you don't have to look that far just read Lenin's books. He can be considered in a way a impartial source because he distrusted both Stalin and Trotsky but he recognized Trotsky's abilities to organize and lead the masses. Stalin only passed to the front line when he started using his political movements to separate the Party and isolate Trotsky.He used Lenin as a political tool too.
