  • Is that your daughter?

  • Ahhh I miss this a lot

  • cute dog XD

  • i seriously can not find a fish mold online

  • @PAIGERINES Try Amazon. Just search Taiyaki.

  • That took 5 minutes... I spent 6 hours on the beans alone [had to do the whole routine of simmering them in water, which should only take 1 hour, but 6 hours go by, half of the beans are still hard]

Tried to make it... god... I must have really screwed up because it was disgustinggg. I threw everything away =(

  • @777Kiana These are not as good as the ones you get on the street in Korea but they are close and easy. I do want to do some experimenting with them.

  • Is your wife Asian?

  • @ceyewind Yes

  • definitely japanese food, it couldn't be korean food. because the fish has the representative meaning in Japan..... If so chinese people may have more possibility to have the food since a lot of things from Japan and Korea are influenced by China.

  • amazing! im korean and can't cook half the food you make haha im inspired to learn!

  • @ysquaredd I hope that I inspire you to try more Korean foods. Really its not that hard but nake it the way that you like it. Don;t worry about you have to do this or that. Make it the way that you like it.

  • thanks for the demo! your daughter is beautiful! she's very blessed to have a daddy (who isn't even korean) make her such a great treat! i <3 boong-uh-ppang!!! :) btw, you can put any filling in you want (i'm sure you've already tried). chocolate ganache, nutella, vanilla/chocolate pudding or even make a plain one and then cut it in half and put ice cream in it (kind of treating it like a ice cream waffle cone concept)...you can have red bean ice cream or even green tea ice cream...yummmm.

  • @kungfuwife Thank you! Love the idea of using them as a waffle cone. Soon I have to try the recipe that I put in the more info a few days ago and see how it works.

  • Didn't know they ate them in Korea too. Do they call them "taiyaki" (or daiyagi or however that's Romanized) or is there another name for them?

  • @JFMello1116 I don't really know the Korean pronuciation. but it is 붕어빵 which I think is fish bread. My kids just call them fish.

  • where do you get the fish mold!!!! ne i want one!!! mn ja ne!!

  • @BlackIceAnimeGirl H-mart usually has them. I ordered mine online. Just search for "Taiyaki pan"

  • Your doggy.

  • never thought about using pancake mixes, that's a good idea! btw the dog is so adorable~

  • Yummo! I can't make these on my electric smoothtop but I'm house shopping and will make sure to have a gas range for these and other yummies. Kid and pup are so cute! She's hapa like me.
