USA is finished, the corporations bought out both sides of the USA government parties and made them pass laws making USA union workers obsolete in favor of Asian workers with communist wage controls and child labor. Packard was not part of this since they went out of business before the USA sold out to Asia

Funny I think the 2008 Trailblazer SS I own was one of the last ones made there.

anyway I guess they reached the deadline of building 2005 models (last year of the S10 Blazer/Jimmy and shut down the plant in the middle of production.

linden n.j its only 7 miles from my n.y. home, my friend worked there,they made the chevy trailblazer and some other light trucks,it use to make cars too but they stopped back in the 90's i been to that plant so many times
