What does it mean when After Effects says" After Effects error: Couldn't find main entry point for normality.plugin (48::72)

Most likely that you are running a PowerPC Mac... Normality requires an Intel processor.

Sorry, Normality is hand-optimized for Intel processors so it's not that simple to get it to run on another architecture.

Sure! If you got a normal pass of your animation, Normality will be happy to shade and light it.

The free version of Normality does not support image-based illumination.

As long as you rendered it out from a 3D program as a normal pass it will work just fine.
