OMG...how precious!! I love giraffes! I have a huge collection of giraffe figurines, stuffed animals, pictures, a cute little giraffe sticker on the back of my cell phone, a picture of last year's baby Masai giraffe at the Los Angeles Zoo as the wallpaper on my computer, giraffe Silly Bandz, mini giraffe beanie babies on my keychains, and a giraffe print handbag. As a Ranger at the Houston Zoo I have had the opportunity to organize and help with our daily giraffe feedings and as a result, fall in love with these amazing animals. I had the pleasure of witnessing the new baby's feet emerge before they took Tyra (Mom) in for some privacy.
We have an amazing staff at the Houston Zoo and I can't say enough about how amazing it is to work with them!
