I'm 40 years old now and remember this when it came out on the album 'White Feathers'. Aside form the straight pop stuff these guys done they're all very acomplished musicians. One of my fave tracks!
This is my absolute favorite Kajagoogoo song! I leave the cd in the van & sometimes play the song several times in a row. They were very underrated as musicians, each one is extremely talented. Nick rules!
@cyclemania It's strange how several bass players were there and left unnoticed on their talents apart Mark King. Beggs, MIck Karn, John Taylor, George Anderson of Shakatak. Btw. Stuart Adamson of Big Country used E bow as well.
It is a true shame they broke up so early. (I know they're back now). Until I saw this, I figured they probably wouldn't perform well live, but I'm impressed and now disappointed I never saw them myself back then. Each is way talented and as someone else said, they were incredibly underrated. Stupid rock critics helped make that happen. Look at the competency of each of these guys with their instruments today and then think about how poor most pop musicians are on the charts. Unfortunate.
can someone tell me which kajagoogoo song this is? I only know the lyrics the lyrics are this: "TAKE ME SHOW ME GOODNESS YOUR'RE THE KING'... something like that any help is most appreciated!!!

Nick Beggs has the best bass line ever in this song. Also, the guitarist is using an Ebow. You don't see that very often. Cool.

Rob Dean of the band Japan used ebow a lot, love the sound of it

The girl trying to give Limahl a teddy must have been upset he didn't take it. She should have just lobbed it at his head lol.

Innovative musicians and were good live performers.
Anyone know the name of the gizmo Steve Askew uses on his mini guitar solo starting at 2:06 and how it works?

It's an EBow I think. It creates an electromagnetic field which allows you to sustain notes.

Thanx for that.

Nick Beggs is sooo coool!! And he is a ingenious bass player!

Yep. He's the only funk bassist I'd seen to
incorporate those wide slide vibratos. Most
just bend the string fast. He blasts right
over the frets with that. Notice that nice
trick he does at 3:50-3:53. Kind of a cool
interplay on improvised pops and the synth
riff Stuart is playing. Very nice sounding.
