EVERYONE HEAR ME. If you enjoy the total war series do you not agree that a new game should come out that is set in the future where instead of regions they had solar systems, space fleets instead of naval fleets they could create new units in battle that are as epic as they want. it would be a huge step forward for the series if they bring the same amount of quality to it. @joex49 best way to get it is to wait for someone else to get it, attack the navy that has the black ship and just try to find their general, if ur lucky it wont be black ship cause i killed the general in a sea battle against a fleet with the black ship, i think it was a Heavy Bune. and just shoot a couple of volleys of fire arrows at the black ship and it'll most likely rout, and just chase it down and board with a sengoku

@Noobifier145 if it doesnt have cannons. usually the AI just waists the ship, they always get it destroyed. its why i make sure i have a port in both sides of the island. and a small kobaya to patrol.

@joex49 ive never encountered the black ship without cannons. btw if you fight the black ship by itself and u have a large navy, id recommend you just auto resolve it, theres a chance they'll destroy the ship but i tryed fighting the black ship myself with about 4 bow kobayas 2 sengokus 1 medium and 1 heavy bune, i failed miserably and the black ship just obliterated my bow kobayas in a single shot, and as soon as my sengokus came side by side to board he just unleashed all his cannons onto it!

The Norman invasion lead to civil war about 50 years later when the Barons decided they were sick of the monarchy.

And although I commend the extreme epicness of the Viking legacy, they never ever came close to conquering Britain. That being said they never really attempted to occupy, merely raid (with the exception of Hadraada in 1066)

Anyway, if you find out that you can't run the game, then I suggest that you buy a new graphics card. The one I currently have runs the game fine (NTW, not so much), and its cheap. ATI Radeon 4350 (60 dollars), and any graphics card after that will run the game perfectly. As for Nvidia, not sure.

@Rami0Rack okay, but just to let you know, empire total war demo was glitched and buggy, and the crashes are quite common. If you get a new graphics card you should be able to play the demo. And make sure you completely patch ETW when you get it, and fully update you graphics card and drivers.

@jurijeuropa If your graphics card has the default factory configuration, you may want to do some overclocking. I did that to mine, it's not a huge improvement but you'll notice a much better performance when playing games.

BTW, I love this game's naval battles, at first it was impossible for me to win one because of the ships' handling but it just takes time to get used to it.

@S2totalwarFan - if u have windows then heres how ==- go into your user and onto system /:C under computer section, then go into "program files" folder, then SEGA folder. After go into empire total war file and inside there will be a folder named saved files. Inside should be your game.

@WRH90059 Naval formations are never needed. However, using them can increase combat effectiveness and decrease the need to micro-manage. Someone who knew that would have done it. They also would've saved their broadsides until they were most effective --at about one ship-width from the target. Using broadsides at range produces fewer hits, and results in less fire from your ship.

This would reduce risk of sinking and reduce the ship's dependence on it's port side guns to fight because its starboard batteries were knocked out. En el empire total war, para mi opinion el mejor ejercito de tierra, son los Españoles, por dos razones, porque soy español y como debe de ser tengo que apoyar a españa y porque los que sabemos sobre formaciones militares, podemos utilizar formaciones como la de los viejos tercios de Flandes, y asi diezmar cualquier tropa que se ponga por delante, y encuanto a maritima, para mi gusto son los Ingleses, buenos navios y buenos cañones.
