@pyromaniac452 you do realize that if you if remove all the armor abilities from halo:reach it plays just like any other halo and don't try that recoil bullshit of an argument if you sit there and play halo CE or halo 3 the AR actually does have recoil it just doesn't have the plume indicator or the animation for the recoil. Another thing a lot of those weapons and armor abilities in reach actually perform the same task as a lot of the weapons and specialty equipment from halo:3.

And just because a game uses the same engine as another game doesn't mean that the game will have the exact same gameplay. A prime example of this would be ubisoft using the Assassin Creed's engine as the engine for Rainbow Six Patriots.

@51mrallen Well personally I think the armor abilities are a load of bull crap cause it sorta changed the balance in the gameplay. Everything in that game is OP. Halo 3 was a not a first shot game, far from it. And I don't think that the prey escaping is the annoying part but rather how the armor abilities used to get away, is used as a tool so that 5 year olds can play the game. Ex. Sprint, Beat down, beat down. "I Got a plasma on me, time to armor lock" etc. Which is why ppl hate Reach.

The armor abilities replaced the halo 3 specialty equipment(the jet pack=a buffed up grav lift,armor lock=a downgraded invincibility that has become common,the drop shield= a bubble shield, invisibility= invisibility, the holograph, recoil, and the sprint are really the only new things .
