Ugh, how Showtime could cancel a wonderful show featuring this amazing actress who's won both an Emmy and a Golden Globe for her work on the show is beyond me.

Congrats to toni but c'mon.......Courteney Cox definetly deserved this one, hands down. AND she was snubbed at the emmys. Whats the matter with these award shows??
There does seem to be an influx of shows that are hybrids between comedy and drama. Which DOES make it a little bit unfair at times. Glee, Tara and Nurse Jackie are not exclusively funny shows.... so it's a little hard to swallow that Toni would win over a genius like Tina Fey. They should consider making a DRAMEDY category :)

toni collette is truly an insanely AMAZING actress!!! In every episode of United States of Tara, I am constantly surprised by her presence and talent!
I love her and the show but these awards (along with Emmys) have to add a new dramedy category. US of Tara is not just a comedy and it's more of a drama with touches of comedy... it's a dramedy. Same as Nurse Jackie.
Definitely a deserving win, because I had no idea she was an aussie prior to this. She can fake several shades of american accents like nobodies business. Good show.

I honestly don't get award shows. I've been rooting for Michael C. Hall to win for years and he finally does... but for one of the weakest seasons. Toni Colette wins??? Glee wins??? Bryan Cranston (two time emmy winner) isn't even nominated? Sandra Bullock over Helen Mirren? Mo'nique? What's happening? Seriously?? Holy crap
I LOVE the big orchestra version of the USOT theme songs. sounds weirdly appropriate.
