  • Stop calling them donuts!

  • Is the 7 oz of butter equal to a butter stick?

  • @adape0884frank A stick of butter is 4oz or 8 tablespoons. 7 oz is 1.75 sticks, or 14 tablespoons. (Tablespoons are marked on the stick for measuring.)

  • DROOL....

  • The recipe is posted on the website.

    18oz - Water

    7oz - Butter

    1tsp - Salt

    1.5oz - Sugar

    15oz - All Purpose Flour

    5ea - Whole Eggs

    3oz - Pistachios (crushed)

  • @erichazann what is oz and ea

  • @t0xictreasure oz = ounces, ea = each. 18oz of water is 2 1/4 cups. 15 oz of flour is approx. 3.5 cups. 1.5oz sugar is approx 1/4 cup. 7oz of butter is 1 3/4 sticks, or 14 tablespoons.

  • @erichazann o thanx

  • Churros Recipe (Spanish Fritters)

Ingredients: * 1 cup white flour * 1/4 tsp baking powder * 1 cup water * 1 Tbsp vegetable oil * 1/8 tsp salt * 1 tsp granulated sugar * oil for frying * several Tbsp granulated sugar to sprinkle or honey

*Remember to spoon dough into a churrera (a large cookie press) or pastry bag.

    Enjoy! ^_^ Muy delicioso...

  • i remember making these during a tex-mex dinner function. i like to substitute half of the water with milk and half of the flour with cornmeal. served with 3 sauces, butter scotch, chocolate, mocha-kahlua hmmmmm mmmmm

  • Ok, without the amounts, it's really not a recipe, just a shopping list.

  • that does not look like the 5 dollar churros at Disneyland!

  • damn looks delicious O_O I WANT NOW!!! LOL

  • FAIL

  • But how do you make that caramel they usually put in?

  • make a simple sugar syrup, cook it further until it turns to caramel consistency and add cream on it.

  • Thanks for sharing i want to try it but could you be so kind to add the recipe for it.

  • Seriously, what's the purpose of the video if you don't share the amount needed for each ingredient.....

  • Eggs?

    Butter?

    Pistachos?

Where did you get the recipe? that are not churros.

Making churros is easier than that.

  • Nice work, we liked your video very much so we embedded it on ChefCommons w/ link back and reference to Youtube. (Let us know if you don't wish for it to be featured)

  • how much of what?

  • Good vid. I have never been able to make the dough the right consistency. I think I have your recipe, so I will try it and see how it goes.

The only bad thing is since I don't have a pasty bag, I have to use a zip-lock and cut a hole in the bottom, but works the same.

  • Ingredient list please, or did you already?

  • ...If only my mum could cook like that!
