I like how this show says that electro can destroy the world cuz in most versions of him they water down his power but realisticaly even getting hit by lightning once should either effectivly imobilize anyone or kill them. This electro is stronger than most adaptations of him but anyway you look at it being able to controle electricty is one hell of a powerful ability.

It's funny, I was actually thinking of Magneto's power in this episode too. They are very similar - I figured if Magneto has the power to control magnetic fields in the most finite capacity and Electro has the power to cease electric transportation in all of NY, then likewise he would have the ability to cease heartbeats or brain synapses in living beings.
