This is what I wanted to happen with them in Pyramid: while EJ is being attacked by Cobb (which we saw at the end of "Swan Song"), the rest of the team turn up to help (Gibbs, Tony, McGee and Ziva) and Gibbs orders Ziva to go in from behind to catch him off guard but he notices her and leaves EJ fighting for her life on the ground to go off and fight the highly trained Mossad assassin, Ziva.
