In this video, I use Final Guard canceling, which is done by using a bullet soul, then tapping R to bring out Final Guard for a split second (which cancels the bullet soul animation). As long as you don't hold R too long, it won't have any lag and you can immediately throw another Killer Clown and repeat the process.

There are a few other ways to cancel bullet souls quickly, so check out my newer boss rush (video response to this), to see them and the difference they make.

@AnesBosna the way I used to do it is Bullet soul canceled into a backdash into another soul. if your back is against the wall it fires souls like no tommorow.

Actually, I was the one that found the final guard cancel, but it's nowhere near as good as the other cancels in the game (werewolf/backdash).

No, I didn't use AR on this, basically just used the "throw stuff really fast" glitch I found.

With AR my record is somewhere around 8 seconds. I ended up making a "warp super fast" code that lets you just go through walls >_> It was fun the first time lol

i have done it a lot faster, my brother is borrowing my DS atm (he has moved out). what i did was that i used the fast sword (the best in the game) and the death soul, i had the mana regen ring to. i cant remember what attack soul i used but i just went crazy on all the bosses with that combo and killed them pretty fast. you should try that yourself.

I tried doing the trick with Final Guard but couldn't do it. I'll try it with the werewolf soul later. I can throw stuff fairly quickly by continuing to press the backdash button the UP+A

How exactly do you do this, do you hold down F.Guard and keep press, or pres both at same time or what?

Uhh, I've explained it a few times now, but basically you just press it for a very short time. That way you can barely see the soul pop up and it cancels itself. right after that press the bullet soul, and after it attacks, repeat the cycle. As long as you have MP, you can do this forever and really, really fast.

ThiefAlucard, yeah, I positioned my camera right above the top screen, had a video cable going to the TV to make sure it was centered (which is why I spend a lot of extra time in the menus and shift around the DS so much).

Yeah, no cheat devices used, I just used the Final Guard soul, but changed the button configuration to X for the soul so that I could tap everything a lot faster. I'm going back to work on improving my time further, so hopefully I'll have vids up of that soon.
