I just watched the "48 hour mystery" documentary on this, which takes an impartial view of unravelling mysteries, such as this. It's no longer a mystery to me at all what happened here - neither Amanda or her boyfriend had anything to do with the murder. There is not one shred of evidence that points to either of them being there, and it is actually ridiculous they even went to trial. All this case proves is Italian incompetence. (I am not American - I am half British-half Australian).

The True Justice For Meredith site does not allow people to post if they think Amanda was innocent. That's dishonest. Note how Bill Williams was recently banned. I was banned after a single post, just for pointing out that Rudy was found guilty of theft of €300 as well as murder.

The very same day, he told everyone that Amanda was a psychopath who did it all alone.
No motive? The wounds inconsistent with the alleged 'murder weapon? No DNA, hair, or skin samples from RS or AK in the room, but Rudy Guede left dozens of samples? Did they commit the murder in space suits, hovering in mid-air?? The prosecutor is a nutter who believes in satanic rituals and witchcraft! I could go on but why bother. Raffaele Sollecito & Amanda Knox are innocent.
Mignini is a goon - and railroaded two innocent people to save his worthless career & reputation! No motive, no murder weapon & the one man all the evidence points to (Guede) got a reduced sentence for his crime - the first conviction was a joke. 4 years in prison for two innocent people. Horrible.

@kimatoz3 Meredith's room would have been filled with the bloody footprints, handprints and smears of three people, not one, if the prosecutor's bizarre motive is true. Yet, no DNA evidence of the presence of Amanda and Raffaele in the cottage at the time of the murder! Moreover, it would have been impossible to remove all traces of evidence of Amanda and Raffaele while leaving all evidence of Rudy intact. Thus, the prosecution's theory that Meredith'sroom was cleaned is not credible.

The Knoxes also expressed sympathy for the Kerchers by stating "they received the worst phone call a parent can get, at least we still have a chance of getting Amanda back." They claimed their pain is hardly bearable and they couldn't even begin to imagine the pain the Kerchers were experiencing.
They also said that until this was all over and they could prove that Amanda had nothing to do with it, they felt Kerchers would not wish to receive their condolences or speak with them.

From those against Amanda, I've heard that she disliked Meredith and so felt little remorse killing her. I've also heard they were friends, so Amanda must be guilty as she didn't appear upset upon discovery of the murder.

Back in 2008 when I first heard about this, I admit that the info I got WAS indeed "pro-Knox", but a vast majority of the arguments against her COMPLETELY omit Guede's involvement, and that's bothersome.

I don't think it was premeditated murder, but I do think that Amanda had issues with Meredith. I think the 3 went back to the house - high on drugs and alcohol - I think they were looking for some 'fun and games' but Meredith wouldn't play; they threatened her then attacked her.

so he saw the italian guy before he fled. knox said it was another guy black guy (lumumba) who did it, but lumumba had a solid alibi. my account is simple: knox and boyfriend did it without knowing that there was someone else in the house. when guede ( black alleged murderer) heard the victim shout, he went out of toilet, saw the italian. confused, the guy ran with knox. guede said he heard 2 people running (even a neighbour said same), he saw the victim in blood, panicked and fled.
when knox saw her boyfriend running, she run with him. later he told her that he saw a black dude. knox immediately thought it was lumumba who she knew had a crush on the victim. the perfect suspect, a black guy vs 2 whites in Italy: there was no match.unfortunately for her, the DNA didn't correspond to lumumba's DNA. That what brought doubts in the mind of enquirers that she may be hiding something. well, you can try to look those info for yourself. that is my take of events.
Sharing my time between the UK and USA I can tell you that that the reporting of this horrific story is very different.

I just watched the "48 hour mystery" documentary on this, which takes an impartial view of unravelling mysteries, such as this. It's no longer a mystery to me at all what happened here - neither Amanda or her boyfriend had anything to do with the murder. There is not one shred of evidence that points to either of them being there, and it is actually ridiculous they even went to trial. All this case proves is Italian incompetence. (I am not American - I am half British-half Australian).

Yet, no DNA evidence of the presence of Amanda and Raffaele in the cottage at the time of the murder! Moreover, it would have been impossible to remove all traces of evidence of Amanda and Raffaele while leaving all evidence of Rudy intact. Wait, were she and Meredith FRIENDS or not??
From those against Amanda, I've heard that she disliked Meredith and so felt little remorse killing her. I've also heard they were friends, so Amanda must be guilty as she didn't appear upset upon discovery of the murder.
On the side of Amanda's defense, she couldn't have killed Meredith because they were friends...OR their not getting along as the reason she wasn't upset about the murder.
SO simple to twist the evidence in either direction.

I don't think she's guilty but I'm not so sure she's completely innocent. There's a lot of vague info out there and jumping to conclusions is the main reason the case has yet to be truly solved.
Meredith Kercher was stabbed to death two years ago and we still don't know what really happened because people keep making shit up.

Back in 2008 when I first heard about this, I admit that the info I got WAS indeed "pro-Knox", but a vast majority of the arguments against her COMPLETELY omit Guede's involvement, and that's bothersome.

I don't think it was premeditated murder, but I do think that Amanda had issues with Meredith. I think the 3 went back to the house - high on drugs and alcohol - I think they were looking for some 'fun and games' but Meredith wouldn't play; they threatened her then attacked her.

The U.S. media has absolutely zero interest in this case. It is a very sad story. Too bad Italy doesn't have the death penalty...it is very much needed here. so he saw the italian guy before he fled. knox said it was another guy black guy (lumumba) who did it, but lumumba had a solid alibi. my account is simple: knox and boyfriend did it without knowing that there was someone else in the house. when guede ( black alleged murderer) heard the victim shout, he went out of toilet, saw the italian. confused, the guy ran with knox. guede said he heard 2 people running (even a neighbour said same), he saw the victim in blood, panicked and fled.

when knox saw her boyfriend running, she run with him. later he told her that he saw a black dude. knox immediately thought it was lumumba who she knew had a crush on the victim. the perfect suspect, a black guy vs 2 whites in Italy: there was no match.unfortunately for her, the DNA didn't correspond to lumumba's DNA. That what brought doubts in the mind of enquirers that she may be hiding something. well, you can try to look those info for yourself. that is my take of events.

Sharing my time between the UK and USA I can tell you that that the reporting of this horrific story is very different.
In the UK Foxy Knoxy as good as slashed Meredith's throat herself;in the US Amanda Knox is practically a paragon of virtue that has been hopelessly accused by a keystone copesque Italian Polizia.
Like you all, I don't know what the truth is but a young girl died in dreadful circumstances and one can only hope that the truth comes out at some point.

it is obvious to me that the black guy murdered the brit. He has a record from before for brutalizing another Brit girl. The Italian police are not the brightest bulbs and if I were Knox's parents I would hire an AMERICAN LAWYER. The girl was not even at the house when her roommate was murdered. it sounds like she's responsible for meredith's death, but not the killer. it seems she spent way too much time with her boyfriend to care about meredith, and her mistake would have been that she failed to have a small group of people, walk meredith home that night. based on footage shown of meredith's room, it looks to be a man that committed the murder. it sounds like it could be rudy guede, the man who confessed to being at the scene of the crime when it happened, but denied involvement
