Hey people, I would like to know what is better! Is it Quantum Leap SILK or Ethno World 4?

I couldn't wait until I got Ethno World 4, but then I don't like it, because most of the sounds you can't play yourself, but it has built-in loops or phrases. What the hell do I need them?! I want to play notes MYSELF, I don't need them.

But this ''Quantum Leap SILK'' for me seems to be better, since you have full acces to single keys so you can play your own compositions.

Any idea?

By the way: Silk was once planned to be a addon for RA. But then they decided to publish it as a completely new product. One concealed reason for that surely was, that a RA 2 or RA Upgrade should have been cheaper for RA owners :) Well they KNOW how to make money.

Reminds me Prince of Persia soundtrack (the 2008 one). I'm considering buying the Silk Road, but in this case I'd have to buy midi keyboard and other things. It wouldn't be so much expensive, but spending larger amounts of money is always painful.

By the way, how much shipping to Europe costs?

@mzeddot yes - it IS too expensive. Comparison to other East West Products shows no rational hint on why it is more expensive. :)

Maybe to make a special offer some day? Standard marketing strategy: 1. overprice 2. make special offers to attract buyers.
