Truly amazing on how this tune has affected millions over time. A wonderful gem of a tune, totally original. I first heard it at 21 in 1980, liking it instantly at first hear. Thanks for playing it.
Sorry for the double comment, I didn't think the first one went through. It was more a hypothetical type of question but now i'm thinking if I put my D28 under my pillow, I might get a couple Gibsons and a Taylor or two. Keep up the good work. It helps busy people learn songs in a hurry. Peace.
@daregularperson I assume it's Brian playing that mandolin-ish part (which sounds like it was actually done on a guitar), and the funny thing is, he got all the way to the end before he hit a bum note at 2:57.
have you ever tried the guitar part with a mandoline ?
You really play great

How did you manage to obtain a zillion guitars, and all pretty sweet at that.

@Yeshead641 The guitar fairy leaves them under my pillow. Somehow, he manages this without waking me up.

How are you able to have a zillion different guitars? Did you win a lottery or something?. wow, I'm jealous. Great channel by the way. Peace

I do like this song, but you don't like the lead guitar part? Why don't you do that too? ;)

@daregularperson A little repetitive for my tastes.

@privettricker I can definitely get behind that. And I guess you don't have a harpsichord laying around? :P

@privettricker Ha, I never noticed that! And I think Brian's part is just a capoed acoustic.

A truly beautiful song. Half step down? pull out another guitar!
