  • I decided I'm going to buy a Daytonagun.

This Thursday I'm going to order my regulator, rings and fittings from PPS. I won't be ordering my Daytonagun until most of my AEG's are gone.

    Thanks for all your help.

  • I meant body consistancy.

I'm hoping to find (or build) an HPA GBB out of solid materials. But so far I've had no luck.

As we all know gas-thru mags suck and there's no way in hell I'd use one for a primary.

  • I hate teching gearboxes so I am interested in some good classic airsoft. In having a hard time finding a place that sells them.

I've heard Sun Project is a good starting point but it seems they lack consistancy. I've heard good things about Escort. Do you have any suggestions?

  • @Wabaanimkii Escort is for the most part out of biz. Daytonagun AK's are available at a few places such as AEX. He will also modify an AEG m4 as well (they run about a grand).

Where have you heard Sun Projects lack consistency? They are basically the same as Escorts. As long as they have all the proper modifications done to them such as the third o ring mod etc... they are fine. Escorts and Daytonagun guns come pre done with that.

  • o.o Echihn?

  • Wow, I have never seen or heard of classic airsoft, and I have been playing for a year now.

  • What do you suggest, CO2 or HPA, how do both perform in the winter, does CO2 have a cool down effect? Thanks, great video!

  • definatly HPA in both paintball and airsoft CO2 has big problems with cool down effect and is also very effected by temperature, HPA has no problems with either

  • Co2 works fine most of the time. HPA runs very quick compared to co2. Tanks are more, and finding a scuba shop, or high end paintball shop is hard to find in most cases.

Paintball and classic airsoft can't be compared. Classic guns use low pressures (in most cases 50-120psi) unlike paintball which runs 600 to well into 1k psi. Paintball suffers from cooldown many times more than airsoft does just because of the volume being used.

  • does a RAP4 rig need a reg as well?

  • Not always. You can either run their crappy "stock tank" or you can run external. External is MUCH better IMO.

  • I meant in the beggining of your vid you show your palmers and a remote line. Does the line (the coiled line) need a reg as well?

  • You can't run external without a regulator. A regulator is built into a rap4's setup, but if you run external, you need to regulate it. You can't just push un reg'd co2 through lines. The lines used for airsoft are about 2-300 psi max. Put pure co2 through it without a reg and you will literally shatter the lines, most likely sending you to the hospital. External always uses an external regulator, period.

  • And if your looking for rap4 for airsoft, you will be more than unhappy with it. They are both not even close to as accurate in external realism as an airsoft gun, and they just perform like arse. Only reason to get one is the shell ejection function.

  • wow!!! I'm trying to save up right now for a classic. If I get one Ill buy from your store for sure!

  • great job dude!, keep up the good work.

  • Good stuff man! I too am just getting into classic airsoft and I must say that was a very informative video and helped me understand everything a lot more clearly than just reading a bunch of text. I think I met you before. Do you happen to shop at AEX Santa Clara? I had a conversation with some guy (which I'm sure is you) regarding Daytona Gun AK's which I pre-ordered. Was that you? If not, my bad, haha.

  • Great information man , keep it up !!
