Oh yeah perhaps it will help Sprint's stock go from $5 a share to $5.50 a share by drumming up more business for Sprint. Cox will not be utilizing Verizon's CDMA network, it's strictly just pure Sprint/Nextel towers and Cox is only allowed Sprint's 3G network reserving Sprint's 4G network strictly for Sprint customers.
Cox sucks, all they are doing is taking a Sprint phone and slapping a Cox name on it. Basically they are retailers for Sprint/Nextel. Absoultely nothing different. Time Warner tried the same thing and it completely flopped. Good luck competing with AT&T or Verizon whom have 4G networks.
Before Cox came to Oklahoma they did a commercial of a guy walking in with a Cox cell, setting it on a box and picking up his phone to carry on the conversation. Then when Cell phones hit Oklahoma they quickly pulled the commercial. They also did this with new DVD's. WHy does Cox Say one thing and do another?

Cox was the first cable company to make a success of landline telephone and is noted for its outstanding customer service. The ability to get wireless from this company is very promising!
