@TheSteamPoweredDude Mine couldn't be more reliable. I just give it a couple of squirts from the primer kit and it fires up every time without fail. It's fantastic.
I can't remember what year my 650sx is... blue hand pole, side extinguisher, half pole pad, and full padding in and outside the ride area. I have it bored 80 over and the starters back in the day couldn't take the abuse... now they can and I forgot what year. Any clues anyone? I can post pics somewhere if need be
@SkiDooFan9 It's not actually an aluminum pole, just the regular glass pole painted silver. If you're interested in an aluminum pole check out the poles made UMI. They'll run about $800 USD new, and a bit less for used.

ive got an '89 & while it doesnt look quite that good, it runs like a champ. i re-did the cylinders 2mm overbore & it will get away from u if your not careful! i think it does 40-45ish mph, not quite sure.
My ski is an 88 and last i toped it out, my dad was next to me in the boat and i belive it was 39-41 mph? i belive im not sure my speedo on my boats messed up but i do belive thats what it said
Why thank you muchly. It's amazing what a little bit of paint will do to an old ski. What you can't see are the small scratches in hull. That'll definitely help show its age.
nice looking ski but instead of dumping money into more upgrades for it, why not get something with more handling and balls, like a hopped up 750 or an sx-r?
The colors are pretty rad, but the blue's got a some of nicks and scratches down around the bottom of the hull, from before I bought it. I was thinking of repainting it with black and an aluminum pole. But we'll see.

@ionaustin Among other things, mine has an aftermarket exhaust system and head. It's got a lot more power than a stock ski.

Yeah it's okay to run for no more than 15 seconds or so. Unless you've been riding and are flushing everything out.
