I know it's a little late to ask this but I just have to. Why isn't there a mini-map at the top right corner or it doesn't appear on extreme. *played the other metal gear games but not the first one*

@KimDoeYoung He's playing on extreme. In the first game there is no mini-map on the Hard or Extreme diffuclty.

I just fired nikita missiles in the beggining and it seams that in some position raven can fire at the missiles, so, after a few shots he died, about 10 seconds... really wierd but it work for me. Pc version sometimes have bugs hahha

WHOA! WHATTA...?! HE RUNS AND SHOOTS AT THE SAME TIME ON EXTREME?! i killed him with those weak weapons such as Socom and Famas on Easy and that was already enough hard but in Extreme i wouldnt even be able to win this guy!!

sorry my bad i meant health limit increased coz he battled wolf but his health remained the same thats why it looks like he has lost a bit of health

it happened from a gas chamber earlier in the game and that damage cant be helped...

lol ur an idiot its coz he battled wolf and his health dropped there are no "unavoidable damage gas chambers" in this game he completed this without getting hurt and he went through that steam room as well without getting hit

Use stinger's first person view and you see where he is and if you have enough ammo you can use it against him.

follow garlands route and then retry after that over and over until you can make him follow the route u want??? if that made any sense

I used to use claymores in random places and then, when I was just about to win, I would step on one of my own mines and die.

oh my god, I feel so dumb after watching this, I used to use Nikita, and he would just shoot the missiles, it takes far longer than using the stinger!

If you wait at the right corners, (as shown) he can't spot you before you can fire and run.

I always thought that was the most obvious way. By placing them at junctures and keeping yourself 'behind' them (ie he has to cross them if he's to ever get a bead on you), before making a quick escape and crawling over a claymore at an 'exit', you've a conservative, and slow, but fairly safe means of eroding his massive HP.

that's the same stratagey i would use but just so i won't fall in my own trap i have to use thermal goggles.

My strategy at this boss is to shoot with Stinger and Nikita and just place some claymores around the place :P
