  • HPB was great to see in clubs. First row many times. Im going to see Blackhawk at A FRIENDS PARTY IN NASHVILLE. Love this song.

  • Such a great song, everyone on the stage so very, very talented!!!!!! And an outlet to keep the memory of David Michael Fiester going as well.

  • i saw HPB w/ Rossington Collins band in early 80's and went out and bought this album the next day.Rock on Henry

  • This was "new country" before country music was labeled "new". Saw the HPB 3 times; they were one of the most under rated Southern Rock bands around. Billy Crain was an awesome guitarist. In some ways the HBP 3rd album Anytime sounded more commercial than Grey Ghost or Feel the Heat, but still flew under most FM station's radars. What a shame, Hollywood Paradise is a smoking tune

  • Anytime is one of my personal "Ten Best" albums. Great road music, hard driving, and must be played LOUD. I saw this tour and they were opening for Rossington/Collins. Blew them away, the guitarists were ALL over the stage and switching leads. Been in love with them ever since.

  • I'm going to agree with Mick8535

Feister & Crain were flying under the radar they were a top notch Duo who many were and still are not aware of. Wally Dentz was also a complete Pro multi-tasking like a MFer out there

  • I've been listening to Paul since the first Oulaws album back in the good old days. The HPB is one of the all time great Southern bands and this video is a real treat.

I'm a reporter in rural Virginia and Blackhawk recently played here. I asked for...and got an interview. What a rush, sitting on a tour bus talking with one of my all time heroes. And, about as laid back and easy going as you'll ever run across.

Thanks for posting and if you've got more, please keep them coming.

  • went to school with Henry...grew up in the same neighborhood from Jr. High and through High School.......He's so talented and so happy to see him having success and still going strong.......Sandi

  • Great Band, but I actually prefer the early line up with Jim Fish on guitar. They miss his vocals and his guitar work was every bit as good if not better.

  • The Henry Paul Band was the best Southern Rock Band ever (of course Skynyrd was THE ONE, but that;s like comparing bands to the Beatles...). Thanks for the vids dude!

  • Naw.....MOLLY HATCHET!!!!!!!!!

  • Alright dude,

    you're right.

    I don't know what I was thinking!

    Yeah, Molly Hatchet!

  • I will never forget going to see Johnny Van Zant Band, The Outlaws, and Molly Hatchet at SummerJam. We got their to find out that Danny Joe Brown had left, and Jimmy Ferrar had taken vocals. Boy did we feel ripped off. But a great show anyway.

  • Would be great to see more henry paul..what a great band adn what a treat it was to see this!!

  • WE need to see some DAVE FIESTER & THE GROOVE MONSTERS VIDEOS............COME ON DAVE WOULD WANT US TO SEE THEM....THAT'S WHAT HE LOVED.............RIGT!

  • Billy Crain juts ROCKS!

  • Great to see some Henry Paul Band again!!! I'm 40 from New England, but I grew up with Southern Rock. Skynryd, Outlaws, HPB, Blackfoot, Molly Hatchet.... HPB was awesome. Grey Ghost, So Long, Go Down Rockin', Feel the Heat, Running Away, Whiskey Talkin', Lonely Dreamer....just great stuff!!!

Brings back the musical memories from my teen years.

  • I saw The Henry Paul Band opening for Molly Hatchet back in January of '82 and they stold the show. Hatchet was good but HPB was awesome. Thanks for the vid, great to see this.

  • Just saw Blackhawk and they are Great. I smell a comeback!!

  • Damulder, thanks for this rare gem and The Outlaws videos! More, if you please!!

  • So much special, exceptional talent on stage at one time, I'm talking of course about everyone, but especially Dave Fiester and Bill Hoffman whom I am very proud to call friends. What a treasure this video is, especially now that Dave has passed away. Again, so much talent, Henry Paul and Billy Crain!!!
